During my 26 Day Trip to The UK, I went YARN SHOPPING !! We went to Hobbycraft in Cheltenham, UK Come see.... MY EMAIL: pizzalisa67@hotmail.com MY INSTAGRAM: / lisascrochetcanada
Looks like you had fun in Hobbycraft happy to see you enjoying your time in the UK . Hobbycraft is a nice shop while your here id suggest visiting a pound stretchers as well as I like you yarn there alot to !.
Looks like fun! You’re so quiet, lol. The blossom is the same but you get better yardage for your buck with premier bloom. I bought it from Lovecrafts once by mistake. It’s nice, but got a better deal from Aberdeen Wools on the premier. Yes, Canadian too. Have a blast! Tami
Hee hee heee- I promised my daughter I would not get all loud and crazy. LOL Yes, I bought some of the Premier Yarn before, actually I made my Grand Daughter a really cute skirt and vest out of it. Thank you, Tami !
Now your daughter can get you yarn for presents. One hint though since shipping is so spendy get those vacuum bags stuff it full with yarn then suck all the air out. Can fit more in a box that way.
. I have done that when I sent her a bunch of crocheted items for Bethany. Problem is that it takes 2 months for things to go from Canada to the UK. I don't know how long it takes for her to send it to me. Also for the price of shipping= regardless of sucking out all the air, it is very expensive !!... Probably cheaper to order yarn online. Thanks Kris.
Yes, they sure do, Roseann. I don't have a lot of money to buy much. I will take what I buy home with me in my suitcase. I have room in my suitcase cause I brought a whole bunch of crocheted items here for my Grand daughter. The cost to ship it back home to Canada would be way too expensive.
LOL, Rose. Actually I have all the room (half a suitcase) to fit in things to take back with me. Half of my suitcase was full of crocheted items for Bethany.
Comparing the price from pounds to Canadian dollar I think some are deals for sure. If I was able to go there wow I think I would go crazy all day in the shop they would have to kick me out at closing time. LOL.
@@LisasCrochet I mean, you looked so excited, lol, it is a different way of saying that, it just came out the way I would say it if I was talking to you face to face. I wasn’t being rude. I hope you enjoy the rest of your time with your family here in the UK
@@LisasCrochet I say that and this wk they have so knit fever come in. Its a sparkle yarn with tiny little sequins on it. Absolutely stunning. Going back to get some the wkend altho it is 5quid a skein lol. But ive gotta have some, its too pretty not too.
Yes, Thank you, Nikkie- I just keep wanting to say Dollars. (LOL) Cause that is what I am used to saying. It took me a while to stop saying dollars instead of pounds. Now, watch me go back to Canada and keep saying pounds instead of Dollars. Ha ha haaa ...
@@LisasCrochet hahaha yup, i did that with road crossing, got use to looking the opposite way in europe then confused when i got back to uk :') Its interesting though to see different sales cultures, 3 for 2 on items is common here whilst coupons are a thing in the states, its little daily stuff that throws us
