Yay for the yarn show! I thrifted some yarn once but I haven’t decided what to make with it yet. They only had a few balls at the thrift store but I’m glad yours is always so well stocked!
The doughnuts of purple and the same yarn in green are probably what is called blown yarn. It's a long tube like casing that fibers are blown into to create the yarn. Such fun variety of yarn you found! 🧶
Oooooh, purple merino wool.. 😻💜✨️ I'm wearing wool all year, light summer wool now and the thicker winter wool will come out soon, like, at the start of September or something.. 🤭 But I live in Norway, so we don't have the warmest weather.. 🤓
WOW! Gorgeous yarnie goodness! Red is the color I gravitate towards, the balls of green, blue, and purple were my favorites. Yes please to mystery boxes. I've purchased 3 mystery boxes from 2 other RU-vidr's. I have found some fantastic high-end yarns at my local thrift stores. One of my favorite local finds was yarn hand dyed in my town!
Yarn show is perfect and I am so here for it! I have been thrifting sweaters as the only thing I can find here so far is crochet thread, sugar and cream and novelty yarns 😭 I would be all over a mystery box of yarn! Cool idea!
@@WoodshedTheory my special interest is ballet so I love collecting things related to ballet. For example pointe shoes. Unfortunately pointe shoes are very expensive so I can’t buy a lot. I love collecting marbles too
Great yarn haul!!!! I'm currently working on a temperature blanket. I'm in Texas... the next few months are going to be one color! HAHAHAHHA We're frying here! I'm a flight attendant and think next year I'll do it based on the high temp of the city I am in.
I'm in Florida and have thought about doing a temperature blanket as well but I don't tend to gravitate to orange and red very much so feel like I'd be setting myself up to hate it 😅🤣 love your idea of tracking temps for your travel cities though! That would be so cool!
I’m givin you a thumbs up for sure. I cannot watch the yarn content. Seriously a sensory issue. I have to admit I was shocked when I saw you doing the yarn stuff. I was like how can she do that? She’s autistic . of course the yarn makes her teeth hurt , wanna throw up and makes her skin crawl and feel squirmy and just way overwhelmed but wow, you like yarn. 😂😂😂🎉
