Thanks Crystal. I just got 2 bags of 5 yarns (10 total) for $2 and shipping through usps was $10 to Texas. $12. What a deal!!!

Great review. I can't take my eyes off of the poncho to your right. The 3 colors you chose to hold together at the end just have my mind reeling. Gorgeous fall colors. Hi Crystal! Great review!! I love the Main Street yarn I got from them. It was $1 for a bag of 5 skeins. 7 ounce skeins. I just completed a baby blanket with mine in off white. Then started another. Very soft yarn. Love working with it. I bought 43 bags - Wow!! Lots of yarn and lots of projects!! I'm happy!!

Crystal, I am so glad you did this review. I've actually ordered from DBNY a few times. At first, yes, I thought the shipping was outrageous, but when I took everything into account, including the weight, I realized it was still a very good deal. I think you'll be pleased, and their customer service is great.

I agree the yarn is nice, can’t beat $1 = $3.05 a cone. Colors are very nice. Wish they had more colors that I like. Blues and greens or variegated colors. But great Fall colors. 👍👍👍😘 Thank you Crystal for your honesty. It’s greatly appreciated. 🤗👍🧶🧶

I am in love with those same colors you said you were keeping! The vivid fall colors. And there is plenty of yardage to make anything at all. I will try to order from them again. I tried in the past but was not able to on my phone. I'll go to my daughter's house and try from her computer.

The cones are awesome for making blankets especially pet blankets and it does soften in the wash. You really can’t beat the price for the yardage.

I just checked our their website and the $1 for 4 or 5 skeins is on today. The cones are also on sale for $1. If you use Clover hooks, and need a size D (US), they're on for $1, as well. They had a very cute charm for $1, but it was knitting needles stuck through a ball of yarn. Since I'm just learning to knit (and not doing so well), I wasn't tempted. I checked for shipping costs from a zip code in VT to my zip code and a 22 lb box in varying sizes ran from $13 to $163 via USPS. I think you're right that they charge based on USPS rates. Hi Crystal, That's not a bad deal. It works out to be $1.68 a pound, not counting the $18 you paid for the yarn. I would order from them. Thanks for sharing. I love the fall colors, too!!

They are also a small company with only 7 employees and I think their business has been booming lately with everyone sharing their site lately. I adore the site. They also have a percentage off of their already reduced yarn in their daily sale link on the top of their page. I have all the cones too. I love them.

I use these cones when I can find them, perfect for charity makes, hold two strands together for worsted weight, I use the single strand with a 4mm hook to make shawls and lightweight scarves x you have some very pretty colours too x

Heirloom Yarn is a very good yarn. We use it with our knitting machines. It softens with blocking and washing. I have made sweaters and blankets. Thank you, for this review. It’s great to know where I can get it for such a great price. When buying cones, for $18-30 a cone, from suppliers, we pay $5.00 shipping, each cone. 😊
