I think this deck should alter Field of the Dead as Field of Elysium. Create a 2/2 doggo spirit whenever the land etb's. Basically, each land is more space for Sampson and the doggos to run free and happy in the afterlife.

Interestingly, 120 power is exactly what you need to kill 3 players lol

My favorite deck is my yarok deck. Its not a lands focused deck, just etb goodness, but it's fun to play. It's also about 10 cards away from being 100% foiled out.

My yarok deck used deadeye navigator with God eternal rhonas, so I could get a ton of power doubling effects. It has been taken apart for a few months now, but it has legitimately won games swinging for 16 million to 27 million damage with just a few creatures. 😆

Deadly Rollick is not in more decks because it's $30 nowadays. At the beginning of 2021, it was a $15 card. By the end, it jumped up 2x.

The reason Deadly Rollick isn't in more decks is because its $32. I'm fine with paying $30 or more for a card every now and then, but when it comes to removal spells I almost never feel like spending a lot, since there are always good budget replacements. I am much more willing to spend a lot of money on expensive cards that are proactive rather than reactive, and cards that don't have good budget replacements for high power decks, like the Phyrexian Praetors, Eldrazi Titans, or Urborg/Cabal Coffers, Urza's Saga, Fetchlands, Vampiric and Demonic Tutor, etc. This is just the way I feel about, but I bet some other people feel similarly. And just imagine what would happen to the price of Deadly Rollick and the other cards from that cycle if every edh player decided they needed those cards for every deck.

Fun fact if you combine the eldrazi processors and gingerbrute, a food creature you can have a food processor creature! also love the commander tune ups keep up the great work!!!!

For the board wipes Meathook is definitely the best one you can fit into yarok, since the -x/-x trigger gets doubled by yarok, and personally i think massacre wurm is the second best for the same reason

I've racked my brain up and down trying to think of how to improve this deck. I think they made it perfect. I might put spark double ust because I think it is really fun to double up on that trigger again.

Made a similar deck to this and had scapeshift for comboing into a huge amount of zombies and killing players with dread presence. Might just copy this and replace the dragon with the gitrog monster.

How do I find the mtg story like is it online or a book?

I would cut Life from the Loam in favor of either Splendid Reclamation or World Shaper, probably Reclamation, as you don't have sac outlets. Reclamation is pretty good even when it just gets you two fetches back, because you get more landfall triggers. Also, Mirage Mirror can copy Field of the Dead for a turn. I would also try to crowbar Cream of the Crop and Concordant Crossroads in there somehow. If you go nuts with zombie tokens, say you get like 40 of them, Cream of the Crop will allow you to effectively look at the top 41 cards of your library and put one of them on top (with Yarok in play, you get to see 81 cards). If you have any card draw triggers, or just a Wall of Blossoms in hand, you can force Crossroads to the top of your library with the Cream, then draw it and play it, giving your zombies haste. :). I also like the black "get anything" tutor creatures, like Sidisi, Undead Vizier and Rune-Scarred Demon. I also like Eldritch Evolution. Lastly, there's a tri-color land that you left out, named Opulent Palace, that taps for your colors.

The most underrated card for Yarok is easily Faerie Artisans. If you have Yarok in play, for every ETB your opponents get, you get FOUR of them

Couple adds I very much expect they'll enjoy. Ashes to Ashes is great removal. Even w/o being able to hit artifact creatures AND sorcery speed... exile 2 creatures for 1BB and you take 5 dmg is NUTS. Polluted Bonds. Any opponent has a land enter they'll lose 2 life and you'll gain 2. Since you control the Polluted Bonds Yarok WILL double this to they lose 4 and you gain 4 every time they put a land down^^

Another great card for this deck is Replication Technique. 5 mana, make two token copies of any permanent, have both target your FOTD, now you have like 5 of them all at the same time.

Ashaya, soul of the elements turns every creature you play into a landfall trigger. Every creature would trigger field of the dead

Id recommend boundless realms instead of reshape the earth. Cheaper and for a landfall deck your maximizing triggers, deck thinning, and gaining mana access. Reshape isn't bad but I feel you get more bang for your buck. its also 3 bucks at this moment.

I'm gonna make this deck but switch out all the removal. Efficient removal is broken to me and my playgroup. Destroying a 6 drop for 0 is not fun for us. Boardwipes are even worse, they just stop the game. It literally just moves the game back by 5 turns. Fun deck, I'm gonna put less removal in.

I'm not saying yarok fie.d of the dead isn't strong... but yarok can be so much better if you focus on things other than the field of the dead
