Setsuna is a lot like Sesshoumaru in his early days, trying to be strong alone using his own power Towa is like Sesshoumaru after he met Rin and found some one precious to him worth protecting
Towa is like her mother rin who is very empathetic to every being. The only time I saw sesshomaru in her was when she turned into full demon. Setsuna is baby sesshomaru lol 🤣
It seems that she somehow knew that one of her daughters would end up perishing in a fight against Kirinmaru. Just goes to show how strong a mother’s love truly is.
I think rin is somehow connected to tenseiga. Rin got revived by tenseiga, came back from underworld and still alive. Tenseiga being an otherworldly sword is connected to rin who now herself inside the tree of time, that's not a normal space. When tenseiga broke, something triggered, and tenseiga got powers to predict future, you know that right? So maybe rin found out about setsuna's upcoming death from tenseiga.
@Everything Sheydan! Yes!!! That's the biggest reason!! Why tenseiga chose rin, out of millions of people? Sesshomaru was bound to meet her, and tenseiga made that happen. Otherwise why would tenseiga bring sesshomaru in rin's village at that particular appropriate moment when rin would arrive and see him wounded and treat him? Shouldn't tenseiga bring sesshomaru back to his palace, in his safe haven? Or to his mother's palace, somewhere he would be safe and sound? But tenseiga knew future, and who knows that maybe even toga knew, so that was the reason why he gave sesshomaru tenseiga. I don't believe that it was a coincidence, that old daiyokai had pre-planned everything. And we all know that both tenseiga and tessaiga are toga's remaining active demon energy..a part of himself....and look how both tessaiga chose inuyasha as it's owner when he chose to protect kagome and tenseiga chose rin for sesshomaru to learn compassion....it was definitely pre-planned by toga...
The idea of Towa getting stronger over protecting Setsuna reminds me of how Inuyasha in the third movie talked about how when humans have someone they have to protect, their power grows exponentially. It makes sense for Towa to get stronger due to wanting to protect Setsuna. It makes more sense for Towa to take advantage of the wound Riku inflicted on Kirinmaru. It makes even more sense for Setsuna to use the blood blade to get a scratch off a Kirinmaru and to be the first of the main characters to wound Kirinmaru in this battle without it being from a previous wound. Despite this, Kirinmaru still showed that he's ahead of these half demon girls.
It's always been like that even in the original series. Inuyasha wasn't the most skilled fighter yet he was able to defeat Sesshomaru for example, a few times even when the latter was obviously stronger. He was able to defeat Sesshomaru not because he was stronger but because he was determined to protect the ones he cares for. Compassion and the desire to protect has a always been the key in the Inuyasha universe to progress.
@@yamatonadeshiko567 it happened during their frist battle when sessomaru underestimate inuyasha capability to wield tessiga and left his guard down and defeated by him and he make the same mistake during their third or fourth battle underestimated inuyasha capability to use wind scar and again underestimate him because of that he deafeated other than that sessomaru won every time
@@anirbandutta4475 yes the only reason why sesshomaru got defeated because he always underestimated inuyasha. He was quite cocky in the earliest episodes. After getting defeated by inuyasha, loosing his one arm and meeting rin grounded him and made him realise his mistakes.
@@yamatonadeshiko567 yes because it's the main theme of inuyasha series. Inuyasha, the protagonist of the anime is a dog demon, we all know how loyal and protective a dog can be to their beloved human. They would do anything for them, even risking their lives. It's the innate nature of a dog to have compassion and potential of giving selfless love. Being so fiercely protective to their beloved human is what a dog demon should do, toga did it, inuyasha did that too, but sesshomaru before meeting rin had always denied that innate nature of him, suppressing that nature wasn't good for him and he wasn't able to utilise his full potential during the fight. He despised that nature of his father, making him even more rigid non-progressive in his fighting. No wonder he lost that fight and even his arm. Whereas inuyasha used his full potential as fighter because it was do or die situation for him, and it wasn't his life that was at stake, it was the life of kagome he wanted to protect, his innate nature as dog demon got triggered and he won the fight against such immensely powerful daiyokai.
OMG!! So Towa’s true power comes out when Setsuna is in danger!! Awesome! Also, is anyone thinking Riku may have injured Kirinmaru to secretly help Towa? And Setsuna was able to use her blood blade to scratch Kirinmaru, across where Towa had originally cut him. How epic! But now Setsuna’s weapon is broken, so what does this mean for her demon side? Will it come out, along with Towa’s? Oh, I sure hope so!
What I find to be funny is Kirinmaru is like Genos from One Punch Man. Always leaving his guard down, and getting F@$# up because of it. But I love this fight 🥰 I also think that if her blade wasn't slowly being dissolved by the poison she was pouring out from her blood sword, she could have survived that strike.
