ok so this isnt the best video by a long shot but i've been struggling to make it now for like six months so, sorry about the quality of the scans at the end and im finally putting this out there so i can be done with it and move on
Dude that shot at 4:01 is so awesome holy crap. And I looooove the editing in this vid. The aspect ratio, the cutting. The vibe is just so good. Excellent work.
You've been away for long that I can barely understand what u say, need to watch it again lmao I'm glad to see u back anyway, I love the sense of calmness and peace that your videos always transmit :)
@@jamstills I'm not one to be obsessive, ok maybe a little. HaHa, But when I was buying a lot of film cameras and fixing them up to sell on my Etsy this camera was one of the ones I came across a lot. The biggest thing to look for is if the shutter is gumming up. I tried to take apart two of them, and really just sold them for parts. I never bonded with them, but always loved the images out of them. Then sometime early in the pandemic I came across the GT version of the Electro 35. Everything worked, and its been my favorite camera since. It's weird. It's all black, I'm sure aesthetics are important (ha ha). But yeah I use it a lot. And love it, it has a slight light leak which I love too.
okay i realllly don't mean to like critique your photos by any means, but my yashica produces much sharper results than what i saw here. Maybe that's from streaming issues etc but i love my yashica 35
I have a yaschica electro 35 gs and it go very Well... but i prefer the Italian Bencini Comet nk 135 ... totally manual and works without battery... (sorry for my English....)
I used tin foil on mine to complete the circuit on the battery. Pretty decent camera, only draw back was the crazy lens flair that often happened, which wasn’t always artistically placed. Like you, wound up selling mine to a first time film shooter. P.S. hope you kept that ‘stache 🥸
