I still haven't had it for very long to talk reliability and longevity. but it's an amazing experience for me. I've never had an experience quite like it, and it's exactly what I was wanting, and I don't mind diving into the profile tweaking required to get the motion feeling right. I would say the hardware at this stage is basically plug and play, but the software side is still a bit of a wild west.
@@phunkaeg Tuning when you're playing a simulation is unfortunately a necessity. I have a regular hotas warthog set but I figured I'd like to be able to control the gamepad in DCS - I've been setting it up for a month now ;) I was already determined to buy it and stopped after reading reviews about the company. They have poor PR ;) They didn't respond to my email about availability and I'm a little afraid that after the purchase the company will forget about me. I'm glad you're happy - for me that's a good sign. I'll give them a chance - I'll write again ;)
I pre-ordered in May. I'm pretty sure they ship quite quickly. But Customs docs can be an issue if you're in the US. I had to pay the import tax for shipping to Australia, but I'm still happy with my purchase. There is a youtube channel called ITSVRK. He has done an assembly video and also has a discount code, feel free to look into that if you want to save a bit of money
@@phunkaeg good to know. Also your recording looks good. I can't seem to find a good way to record my FCS flights. What do you use, program wise? Tracks are jacked up and OBS to the DCS screen while in VR only allows me to see my HUD only. Unless I'm moving my head around of course. Looks like you can see a good amount of your instrument panel in your recording. So frustrated with this lol
