Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama is known for her repetitive polka dots and peep-show-like chamber rooms that create the illusion of infinite space. Six of her Infinity Mirror Rooms, part of a retrospective of her 65-year career, are on exhibit at the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C., Feb. 23-May 14, 2017.

it would be great if there was a way to wear or be in a mirror suit with a see-thru mirror helmet, and to be standing on mirrors so you have the feeling that you disappear.

Beautiful work & video. Would you please credit the superb music as well? It's always troubling when music isn't listed in the credits alongside video production. (I assume there's a business reason for this?) Thank you!

That was different and some were interesting, but I think a room of mirrors filled with a bunch of puppies, kittens and tennis balls, with a disco light ball spinning in the center of a room would have gotten a big WOW from me.

I feel a bit mystified by a lot of this. I can't help but think that the repetition will eventually come to an end at the final atoms in the mirrors. The longest possible repetition occurs when two mirrors are placed precisely adjacent to each other, which eventually comes to an end at the particles in the very centre of them. This is an example what art can do to people. It primarily exists for viewers to express their thoughts and emotions.
