@jfrd28 @Domsta It's isn't non-Arabized Iranian script at all. It is Gujarati, the script used by Zoroastrians of Gujarat (India) as well as other Gujarati people to write in their own language, Gujarati. So, yes, it's related to Devanagari.

PARSI GUJARATI Language the language as spoken and written by the Zoroastrian Parsis. The old language is called AVESTAN - known only from its use as the language of Zoroastrian scripture, i.e. the Avesta - from which it derives its name. Avestan's status as a sacred language has ensured its continuing use for new compositions long after the language had ceased to be a living language. It is closely related to VEDIC SANSKRIT the oldest preserved INDO-ARYAN language. This differs from ordinary Gujarati in that it admits pure Persian words in considerable numbers, especially in connection with religious matters.

Your information in general is correct, but if you're referring to 1:30, it is Gujarati script (though with Parsi peculiarities) transliteration OF Avestan. If you don't have Indic capable unicode you will not see first line: ક્ષ્નએાથ્ર અહુરહે મઙદએા Kshnaothra Ahurahe Mazdao With satisfaction for Ahura Mazda

i think it's old Avestan... the one used by the old post-Elamite Iranians... used in the original Zoroastrian scripts... derived from the original Aramaic script... the language itself is a descendant of Indo-Aryan like the Vedic and Devanagari... both Indo-European Languages... PS: this is non-Arabized Iranian script

The script in question is indeed Indian, its Gujrati from western India; where majority of Parsis - Zorastrians & their decendents are settled after taking Refuge from the accursed islamic invasion of Iran

The script in 1.29 is Gujrati, the Language spoken by Zorastrians or Parsees in India

Zoroastrian is a pagan religion based on sun worship the fire represents the sun. most off the anciant world worshiped the sun. the persians adopted Zoroastrianism at the same time kept there pagan rituals same as romans who became christians but stil kept there pagan rituals like xmas day and easter. zoroastian prophet was a hindu priest frm what is now called afganistan
