Simply because some indonesians tend to (*cough) discriminate indonesian citizens that aren't "pure indonesian" and comparing him with Dita which she has indonesian blood . And also loudi once said in an interview, that he is just chinese-korean but lives in indonesia. I think thats what makes some indonesians keeping distance from him. Idk if this true or not, but someone explained to me this way. So its just fyi.

Semua bahasa sama aja kok, ada situasi formal dan kasual. Formal dipakai di pemerintahan, jurnalistik, professional dan biasanya berupa bahasa tulisan. Untuk kasual ya kondisinya lebih santai, bisa pakai slang bahkan bahasa daerah. Biasanya kasual untuk bahasa lisan/chat soalnya harus tanggap merespon dan sering tanpa imbuhan.

the words that you're trying to say has the same energy as "kerja bagus hari ini!" or "cukup sampai sini" at the end of the day, we have different culture that cause different way to say stuff. like how Japanese apologize to say thank you, and how some parents say "have you eat?" to say "I'm sorry"

I think suggeosso aint the equivalent of "kamu sudah berjuang" it's more to "kerja bagus". Here's the tip for translating languages: we dont literally changing the words. We found the equivalent expressions. Pls note: expressions. See how "Time flies" means "Waktu berlalu sangat cepat" instead of "Waktu (time) terbang (flies)" ☺☺☺☺☺☺ Indonesian is not that hard tho 😊

@@isseokey yeah... i mean, korean has multiple options like *"jalhaesseoyo"* , *"sugohaesseoyo"* , *"gossaenghaesseo"* , and etc. it's so comforting to hear it from your mutuals, but it's awkward to use *"kerja bagus"* in daily life. from the older to younger is ok, but for younger to older or for the same age is still awkward. so this is why i said using bahasa indonesia is kinda hard to express feelings.

@@ara6460 ahh I see... so I guess it's more into cultural things here. We dont really use those kind of phrases I guess... If we see the context, I assume that Korean use those phrases to appreciate others right? I guess we tempt to use "makasih" as a form of informally appreciate others' work that affect us, and say "selamat" when they done something but dont really affect us (?) For example when we just had a meeting, we would say "makasih udah dateng" in the end of the meeting similar as how Korean closes meeting with "sugeohesseoyo" And say "selamat" when someone finished his 'hardwork' Its not necessarily have the same meaning, but it kinda express the same feeling idk 😂 U kno whats more cringe? When we prefer to say "love u" or "saranghae" instead of "aku cinta kamu" 😂😂😂😂😂 idk if its just me, but i feel that way
