I agree with you however, it just seems to be trend among dark skin black men specifically. Once they become more famous they will choose light skin women. I don't see korean pop stars using African women in their videos. Its just an observation from a guys point of view.. Apparently the director in London felt it was needed to use the light skin women in this video, it says a lot to me.
i hear you but your reasoning is problematic, international fans and so what exactly? Why should the colour of women (which usually reflects the culture/type of music you make) displayed in your videos change to reflect western tastes? do you see this happening in bollywood/k pop music? When you realise how much Africans feel they need to become more western to be "better" or more accepted you'll realise why many people don't see it just as a random video with lighter girls, it's the mentality it portrays.

I've come back to this video, I must say my opinion has changed since I've watched what it takes to make a music video, Yikes, Na hard work it take!. I may not like this but I can appreciate that work that went into it. YCee You are still my guy like I said, your talent is real, I hope to hear more bangers soon. I must also add, there is something so compelling about music videos done in the realness of Nigerian, under the African sun, African artist should focus on that. But I also know that ideas of growth and hammering differ from artist to artist, so a foreign video may be the desire, anyways I like the song sha.
