Thanks for watching! The Zeda80 was a step up from the Pk80 due to some differences such as piston hole height and rod specs. What separates the Zeda80 from the Zeda80 triple 40 is that the intake manifold holes are 40mm apart (giving ability to make intake wider), the exhaust port is round (giving more release), the stroke is 40 (giving better compression), and finally the front engine mounting U is more open and fits bigger frames. Thanks for watching. The yd100 definitely will not. The 80 will fit it you hacksaw about 10mm of the rear mount spacer and you use a shim in between the engine and the rear mount. Also, you’ll need an offset intake. Other than that…it should go on smoothly. Happy building.

I haven't tried, but I agree...it won't fit due to u straight bottom bar. Make sure you use a good, steel framed bike as well! Happy building 👍

To be honest, I am not a ’how fast can it go’ type of guy. I like to be ale to have the torque when I need it and I like being pulled up hills without having to pay a lot of money on upgrades to do so. Thus, my answer would by yd100. BUT I do like upgrading and customizing the engines that I do also like the Zeda80s as well. I am sure you will get the one that is best for you, and I am sure you will enjoy it! Happy building.

There is actually. The Zeda 80 is an all around useful, base motor that is the hot go to for most enthusiasts. It is also highly upgradable. The YD100 has been on the market for less than 1 year and has torque that will please any person over 200 lbs. It will pull from the line and get you up a hill no problem. It is not as upgradable due to the single piece cylinder, but it can still be upgraded for top speed without sacrificing the low end torque and not spending as much money doing it as compared to the Zeda 80. Very simplistically... the YD100 is good for torque and the Zeda 80 is good for top end. With that said, both are considerably fantastic performers for only having 1 piston smaller than your fist!
