I found a copy on Amazon for 24 quid, and got it last Friday. All i need now is to either download Windows XP on my laptop or get an a secondhand laptop. Very happy I've got it now :D
Wow, I had no idea YDKJ had a UK version. When I saw the thumbnail on this at first I thought this was going to be a joke, where Cookie (The US host) was going to put on a bad UK accent and it would be just questions about the UK. This version is really interesting for a variety of reasons. The British Host is quite charming, though like a lot of hosts from the UK I've seen on youtube (mostly gameshows) they are more than willing to give you lip. Hearing Bastard and Bullshit is really weird given they really never swear in the US version, but then again US media and UK media have different views on swearing anyway. I wish there was more versions only cause I like the host.
Erm well if you pressed spacebar That skips pasts the intro Then into the game There is an intro in the game He just happens to skip after all the preparations
Say do you know where I could find a copy or a iso of this? I'm afraid I have no idea where I could find one, even google doesn't help me :L Thanks in advance
Nothing happens when you type in F*ck Off as your name, but here's the lines. Warning 1, Part 1: "I beg your pardon? You're a guest on my show, you minge faced frig, you use that kind of language and treat me with that much respect. I let you use the keyboard and you behave like a p*rnographer. Take a look at your score, you ingrate sh*thead." Warning 1, Part 3: "THIS IS AN ABUSE OF TRUST WE'RE TALKING ABOUT, AND IF THAT'S THE WAY YOU WANT IT, LET ME ASSURE YOU IT CAN GO BOTH WAYS. YOU NOW HAVE A NEW NAME!" Warning 2, Part 1: "Yes, I get it. Let's keep typing in the words and see what Jack says next. I’d like you to pay close attention to your score." Warning 2, Part 2: "You see what I did? That's right, I didn't do anything, because typing that in isn't original anymore. So since this is the last time I'll be indulging this behavior, so when you buzz in the next time, try and answer the c*cking question." Warning 3, Part 1: "OK, you are thoroughly, thoroughly, pathetic! If I can't trust you to behave with dignity when I get you free rein on my show, let's see you behave with a blank desktop! This game is over, I'm off for a w*nk." Warning 3, Part 2: "Yeah yeah yeah, just keep pressing all the keys you want. I don't give a sh*t. P*ss off, will you? Come on."
Prisoner416 I used to get nearly every question wrong when I played it about 2 decades ago. Then I memorised each one when I purchased it off Amazon 3 years ago.
Well, yeah, I run it on a Virtual Box. I'm American, but I have it to complete my set even though I can't get the more local questions. But how do you get things wrong like question 7, 10, and 13?
Quite simply we weren't taking this game super seriously (it was only my friend's second ever game of any YDKJ). They're not the best at trivia but enjoying the extra responses to the wrong answers if we get them is half the fun! The video may not show it, but we're having a whale of a time and that's all that matters at the end of the day :)
I figured as much, lol. You might be interested in the YDKJ discord we got going on at the moment. I'm going to be sharing a soundtrack pack of the pure game audio soon, not the crap recordings, pulled from the files.
