For the next one please have a usb-c or usb4 port, thanks. Also, this device could be smaller, like the size of a water bottle, making it a much better practice tool, like the travel sax 2. being able to manipulate the sound with my mouth would be nice but the first two are a higher priority for me. I would instantly throw my money at you with these features.
I've had mine for about a year, after using the WX series for about 30 years. I got the YDS 150 so I could practice without hooking up a bunch of stuff. For that it is great but overall, I'm very disappointed with it. Not putting in a bite sensor was a huge mistake!!! What were they thinking? Also, why not put a real midi out on it? I just don't understand what they were thinking? I had planned on it replacing my WX5, but no way. Also, why limit it to one octave up? the WX5 has about 9 octaves. I'm real tempted to check out the competition. Also, I'm not sure but is there anyway to have midi in? I would like to be able to play the sounds with my sequencer, since the sax sounds are good. Overall, the YDS-150 is a good instrument but in many ways a big step backwards from the earlier wind controllers. Seems like it was made to be marketed to non musicians, while the WXes were made for pros.
Hello, I'm having a problem with the YDS 150 regarding the 20-way presets in the U bank plus my alternate super treble positions. After configuring my choices out of nowhere it erases and goes back to factory settings. This is normal? Have you ever had this problem? Sincerely.

Vibrato (after a slight delay when holding a note) is built into most of the voices that come built-in. The way you do vibrato on an acoustic sax has no effect. There are not many ways to manipulate the vibrato and many are asking for that to be included in a software update. IMO it sounds quite good. The built-in speaker does not sound very good, you will want to play through a small portable amp.
