Psalm 24, the great hymn preceding the Presbyterian Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper. Astounding, especially the Coda - 5 hallelujahs and 3 amens. So Mote It Be.

A glorious psalm. Forgotten by Anglicans who focus too readily upon the suffering of the Lamb of God. Cancelling this glorious aspect of God is like cutting off one leg of all that you stand on. You're easily pushed over.

It works well for both Palm Sunday and for the Ascension of Jesus. Both are glorious reminders that Jesus is King! As for this version of Psalm 24, I'm surprised that the tune and as a choral work, it isn't better known in Anglican and English church settings. It really is a great piece of music!

Good to hear some good old Scottish Presbyterian style worship from a Church here in the States. I so miss the worship of the Kirk here in Congregational New England.
