While preparing for a fb live on the anniversary of Sahir Ludhiyanvi, a brilliant poet .....on 25th October ,Sunday (to be organised by SLGGRC and Srajan )where we will be presenting some of his literary nazms and ghazals ,I just could not help remembering another genius S D Burman ,a composer par excellence.Together they have created magical unforgettable songs in the films .....Here is a song from a 1952 film ‘Jaal’....brilliantly rendered by Lataji originally.
Beautiful accompaniment by Satyam(keyboard) Kanhaiya(guitar) Dheeraj(handsonic) and Satish Dubey(camera/sound).……Kanhaiya deserves an applause here for his flickers of brilliance in the interludes.
