I have just discovered these boys today and thay are the real deal. It's been a long time since I have been this happy to pick the guitar back up and learn every tune. Unreal singers and musicians. Now a big fan and when this all passes I look forward to seeing them live.
There is hardly any recent commentary and too few views. This documenary is a pearl. Thanks to you Myles and the brothers and the wonderful audiences. I am with you.
Such a quality watch. These guys are superb and will surely go on to world acclaim when the Aussies , Americans,Canadians more get to see and hear them. 👏👏👏
I've always wanted to visit Ireland Now you made me want to visit it's islands as well. I just found out about Ye Vagabonds a few weeks ago so I'm glad I caught this documentary.
I missed these lads play at James Yorkstones Tae Sup With a Fifer night. (and Lankum.. 😢). No live music for a year, no travel, this film(along with all your others Myles) are a tonic for the soul. I love the intimacy of your films, I first became aware of you with your films from our wee local music fest, Home game at Anstruther. ❤️❤️
@@myles.o.reilly, ah, no, thank you, I hope to be able to financially support you to say thank you for the pleasure of of being able to watch back Lisa O Neil, SeaFog, Adem.. From these homegame days.. And to see performances from Whelans by The Frames.. AHHHHH! You're a gift that keeps giving!
Esta música es el sonido perfecto para frenar la ansiedad. Es el ritmo perfecto para reflexionar y sentir que estás vivo! Saludos desde Argentina - Buenos Aires!
I really like ye vagabonds, the rhythmical bouzouki, the voices, the harmonies and the selection of songs. A class act, lovely to relax to their melodious airs. A cross between Sweeney's men, Johnny moynihan and Dr dannan and planxty. It also reminds me of the voice squad and Robbie Burns. Very enjoyable, well done lads.
All I can breath is wow... with a single breath Wow... Ye Vegabonds oh how your music lifts my soul to younder now. Beautiful filming 🎥 which makes me smile and reminds me of so many joyful memories as a child exploring islands and connecting with nature. How I only discovered these lads and I don't know how it came to be.. only the gods could have whispered it into my hears so lovely. I love Willy O Winsbury 🍀👌
Hermoso video. Desde la belleza de Irlanda , país mágico , hasta las hermosas interpretaciones de los hermanos. Un poco de frescura ante tanta chatura musical. Esto emociona.
This was an amazing video. Living on an island in the Pacific Northwest I absolutely love the tour concept. Your videography and creative vision really takes the music to another level, well done by all.
one of the loveliest productions in a long time. Reminded me of visits to Oileán Chléire. Hopefully later in the year I can visit again of in Spring as a prelude to walking TheIrelandWay. GRMMA
Greatness. My wife and I had the unforgetable experince to have seen Damien Rice at the Cork Opera House in 2019, so from Texas we went. As a result of this adventure, I discovered that RTE called for a vote on the greatest Irish song; I voted for Freddy White and the Parting Glass. If I had a do over, I would have voted for Willie O'winsbury, hands downs one of my most favorite songs, Irish or not. These guys should be deeply appreciated for their true talent and their sincere desire to keep alive one the most influential music genres of all time. Cheers to Ye Vagabonds and Myles O'Reilly.
Hello & thank you for realizing such beautiful videos with such great Irish artists ! Can you tell me the name of the kind of accordion played by the guitarist with the back of his leg ? thanks in advance; G from France
I dtús agus go mór ... go raibh míle maith agat as scannán seo. Ceist, le do thoil ... so I love Samuel Beckett's short ''ghost'' plays (Rockaby, Footfalls, Eh Joe, srl.) ... what if we (who ever the 'we' may be) take Beckett to these islands ... I know Company SJ did Happy Days on one of the Aran islands but that's a 90 min. show and a hard one at that (we performed it at the Chapel of the Arts in St. Louis, MO., USA back in 2014 or 2015) ... the stages in the halls depicted are perfect - small, intimate venues, we'd bring the sound and lighting (needed for atmosphere) ... do you think that would make sense to do?
