Now there are some small variations that are in the song: First is "Yea, Alabama! Drown 'em Tide!" for "Yea, Alabama! Crimson Tide!" Another is "that's a shame!" for "that's his shame!" Lastly, it is either "Go roll to victory" or "So, roll on to victory."
Now sometimes I do not get the fight song because few years ago Alabama was in the elite eight in men's basketball, women's gymnastics is powerhouse there, Georgia Tech left the SEC in the 1960's, and nothing in the fight song is changed. Anyhow, I'm not attending the school there and nobody is thinking of changing the song there, might as well live with it.
