I found it very interesting that the same choreography was danced by two ladies with different body, different costume, different hair style and also different "school" of dancing. One is traditional oriental, very feminine and sweet, the other more aggressive and modern. Both good. If you choose to look at only one of them, and then a second time at the other, you get a totally different feeling. Brilliant idea as a study on how many ways there are to interpret a choreography.
Thank you for your kind words! Thanks from the student, though after 4 years)) There was no such purpose to show the difference of Lada (teacher) and me, she just wanted to record the dance and spontaniously asked me to join. Actually I found it hard to look at us in the video, because I wanted to be more like tall and slim Lada :) And to know the choreo better.
I probably have watched this a thousand times. I've been learning on my own...no classes within 2 hour drive...4 road hours...ive seen MANY MANY choreographed yearning dances and this one is by far my fav. Your bodies are hitting every beat like the drums and also the lyrical parts. You truly put this music on your body....belly dance perfection
I think this is by far my favorite choreography to Yearning that I have seen. They dance with every part of their bodies. I love the emotions expressed and the intricate way so many moves were woven together. Inspirational!
Браво 👏 великолепно 🔥 какие вы молодцы, не просто пустой набор движений, а со смыслом. Пожалуйста напишите, какой смысл вы вложили в этот танец. Благодарю 🙏💖
Wow! Love the choreography! Beautiful dance. I could help but clap when you all were done. Well done. Would love a step by step tutorial and learn this as you have it. I will tell everyone to see this video. :)
I really hate when some dancers sexualise the moves and forget the music and the underlying emotions while dancing.. its so brilliant when all comes together like a story.
This very beautiful choreography! but the blonde woman goes very fast and the other woman and very sensual dance to the rhythm of the melody !! i Love it!! :)
very beautiful dance! Both danced wonderfully! I noticed that some commenters preferred the style of the girl the skirt, saying that the blonde girl dances faster. But I think the blonde dance is better ( I thought she was the teacher). Her movements are very clean, precise, and exudes sensuality. The girl in the skirt actually forgets the choreography several times. That is why she is slower. Also her billowy skirt heightens her movements, making it appear she moves better, but really the blonde girl nailed it perfectly. Just look at her technique!
it is all true what you said. I am also delighted by the technique of the blond girl (Airodrom= Lada?). Only she could work on her facial expression a little bit. But this is not so important. I guess she is the teacher.
The blond woman is Lada and indeed she is the teacher, a very good one! I am her former student in the blue skirt)) Am trully surprized people try to compare us, because it is very obvious from the video that Lada is a professional, and I am just trying to follow her. The video was taken spontaniously and I did not know the choreography well. That is why I'm slow and Lada is fast and confident :)
I think this choreography is the best I've seen with this song. I know this video is old, but I'd love to see a finished one ..in costume.. I'm sure you must have perfected it .. it's simply beautiful
Parabéns! Seja pela dança, pela escolha da música e a graciosidade das dançarinas. Mas a idéia de colocar uma dançarina com saia e a outra o chalé e top, permitiu visualizar todos movimentos principais do corpo. 😍👏👏👏
Actually, even more than dress, age and body type, it's probably also a question of character and tastes, of natural disposition (towards one lifestyle or another). And it's a wonderful thing to see a teacher that does not encourage her students to be her clones. Anyway, compliments to both of you.
Really superb, so wonderful highly impressive instructions for each and every belly dance performer and graceful coreography and nice creativity and the God bless to both of you with all good wishes.
I see two beautiful dancers who put a lot of emotion and skill in their choreography; you lovely women are fantastic and I'm delighted that you decided to share this piece with all of us. ^_^
Hello, I am learning how to dance belly, I can see in your work a nice fusion between belly, modern dance and ballet, and I like this kind of mixes. I want to congrat you for this work.
Beautifully interpreted in two styles! Reminds me of a dance studio scene in the movie "White Nights" with Gregory Hines and Mikal Byriznikov. I apologize I misspelled liast name. Mr. Hines from tap and Mikal from ballet. Those jumps were extraordinary!
I love this choreography so much! The movements go smoothly with the music and the hip strokes fit perfectly as well. I have been trying to learn it but I am just a beginner, so it is very difficult for me :( If you ever have the chance, it would be amazing if you could have a full tutorial on how to learn this choreography. I would be so grateful!! Thanks for making this video by the way, it is so beautiful :)
Very nice 💕 My request if I may say, is that I would ask for you to find a background that highlights your beautiful dancing 💃 I was trying to enjoy watching your precise movements but it was hardI to see with the cabinets etc behind you. I look forward to seeing your upcoming videos Blessings 🙏💕
Hehe, you're welcome. Of all the bellydancing videos I've watched on youtube, this one is bar far my favorite!! I can't say enough how much I love it!! I hope I don't sound creepy or anything, but yeah, I have to repeat my earlier post and say that the choreography was wonderful. ^_^
