I don't understand why Israel should be providing aid to the people that are attacking them, but it is an indication of just how faithful and peace loving the Israeli people are. They do not want anyone to suffer needlessly - why doesn't Hamas think like that and why, oh why does the international media and leaders accept what Hamas say and yet do not believe Israel. Does it bother you that the Ultra-Orthodox Jews aren't required to join the IDF at 18 like the other Jews are? They have been exempt from joining the IDF since Israel started. However, recently Israel changed that exemption and now the Orthodox Jews are required to enroll in the IDF and are now eligible to be drafted, which they have said, they would rather go to prison than join the IDF. Kinda hard to ask other countries for help defending Israel, when some of their own people refuse to fight.
