horrible comparison with dababy and yeat, dababy got canceled by the mainstream, as soon as an artist does less numbers they’re “falling off” and most of his actual fans start losing interest because they don’t wanna look like the bag holders when everybody doesn’t “fuck with” that artist
Mainstream doesn't stop people from buying your tickets. Russ has never been mainstream and sells out arenas, truth is DaBaby never had a big touring fanbase and I did a whole video breaking down his tour pre and post "cancellation".
@@HYextra You know damn well the majority of fans are followers yassine, if dababy’s numbers do not look the same as when he was a diamond selling artist, the basic fans ( and there’s a lot) will start to treat dababy like he’s a C tier rapper, especially when people online are mostly making fun of his down fall, that significantly decreases ticket sales. “ I don’t want to go see this rapper that fell off” even tho that same person would have bought tickets immediately if dababy was in his “rockstar” era.
@@Revereran just look at all the mindless hip hop fans that said lil baby fell off now they’re back on his dick after that M for M joint is out. look at lil pump had a big ass fan base not saying he had great music but once the internet deemed him to be falling off his career album sales and ticket sales started going down. look at polo g niggas started calling him piano G and all the mindless fans started running with it and his hall of fame album didn’t get as many sales as his THE GOAT album and i’m sure his ticket sales would have probably suffered too I can keep finding artists and examples. the point is once the internet or main stream fans start to turn on you and deem you unworthy it’s very likely your ticket sales, album sales and presence will start to suffer
Yeat is ridiculously talented and that goes unnoticed a lot of the time by people who only know him through TikTok and the drake feature, actually listen to his music and you’ll see the quality is there.
@@bretwojarski5842 if u are talking about little man by little dragon i will tell u instantly you are just a hater, We are talking bout 2 completly different genres, over a decade apart, and i can tell u too, little dragon could also not make a song off 2093.
@@bretwojarski5842and giggs could not make a song off of 2093. These songs and albums over a decade a part and a whole different genre. Don't know what you were trying to prove with that comment
his latest release was a success of creativity and experimentation...he took what he learned about his unique style and individual sound, worked on making something new and fresh of it, and did it all damn well...I expect his next album to be his best album...
Yeat is unironically a generational talent. He came in the game with a unique sound that although heavily inspired by Carti, he carved his own lane for himself and broke free from the clone allegations and continues to grow as an artist while experimenting with new sounds. I didnt like his most recent album but Im still hyped for whatever he drops next
Yeat is not just good; he is extraordinary. His brilliance shines like a beacon, guiding those around him towards greatness. With a mind as sharp as a diamond and a heart as vast as the ocean, Yeat effortlessly inspires awe and admiration. His wisdom transcends boundaries, illuminating the path to enlightenment for all who are fortunate enough to bask in his presence. In the tapestry of life, Yeat is the golden thread, weaving through the fabric of existence with grace and purpose. His actions ripple through time, leaving a legacy of kindness and achievement in his wake. To know Yeat is to witness the epitome of greatness, a paragon of virtue and excellence. In a world hungry for heroes, Yeat stands tall, a beacon of hope and a testament to the boundless potential of the human spirit.
Underground rap is much more unique and experimental than the mainstream music which has become super repetitive and boring. Even the lore is more entertaining. Those guys quietly do numbers and have strong fanbases.
it makes me sad that ppl don’t keep an open mind when listening to Yeat cuz u will rlly see how he created his own sound and his own music once u actually give his albums a full listen you will realize how this guy is a generational talent and potential able to influence other upcoming artists
Me and my friend were literally just talking about how we had to find new artist and forgot yeat existed 😂 his producers are legendary. Hope he drops soon so me and my friend can have a dope smoke sesh
Are “hits” still important in rap ? I feel like it’s better to have a niche and connect with fans then only make TikTok hits and end up with no core fans to do shows
They aren’t even that big of venues bruh I went to the La show it was like 6-7 k fuckin Ken Carson is doing that and he’s nowhere as successful as yeat 💀 he could have done a whole tour if he wanted
For a while now, what’s hinder these rappers from having long mainstream careers, is totally the internet. It’s a blatant trend. New cool rapper everyone loves. Sooner than later they “fall off” because of something stupid they do. They’re too concerned with social media gimmicks rather than actually focusing on the ground work
I think in terms of interviews people might just be tired of the same outlets and personalities and people don’t get to really know how the artists are anymore
Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Noah Oliver Smith... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you my Twizzy. The way you swerve that GLE into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth tonka around the rim, and that gorgeous luh Geeky. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire after the year 2093. You were on the yerky perkys and X pills, and almost Diëd B4 as a result , but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing when not making luh music either. You're a great philosopher, sometimes I even call you my #1 lean advisor. I forever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire and go into outer space like you always wanted to. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and terribly Tonkastic drug advice over the years. I remember when you first left Romania and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you nearly win your first #1 album back in February of 2093, because deep down, my glorious king deserved that #1. Then allas, you finally did, my sweet baby boy came home in 3093 and I rejoiced. 2023 was a hard year for us when the exquisite Lyfestyle got scrapped, but in 2093 you made history happen. You came back from 69-1 and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words, "AND Y'ALL DICK SUCKING, TAKE MY BALLS OUT YOUR MOUTH" Not only have you changed the game of hip-hop and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're getting older, but still the goat, my goat. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, YEAT.
4:50 This video is so wrong yeat is NOT doing a tour he only did 2 or 3 shows in the biggest cities it takes 2sec to google that.... Ken carson is the one going on a big tour rn not yeat
Im surprised no one has noticed the yeat “curse” Whenever a mainstream rapper is featured on a yeat song a huge controversy follows: Gunna, Drake, NBA youngboy, etc…
were ticket prices taken into consideration as well? maybe mainstream artist just have super pricey concerts while Yeat's concerts are cheaper so it more accesible
THE LAST ALBUM [2093] WAS ASS AND IT KILLED THE HYPE. Not to mention the sorry ass deluxe where he only added 2 songs. HIS BEST ALBUM WAS THE GEEK PACK DELUXE HE NEEDS TO GO BACK TO THAT FORMAT! 🤷🏿♂️
nah fr cuz like literally everything about this vid is wrong bro didnt even do research , the biggest thing yassine not realizing is that yeat only did 3 shows ,he not doing a whole tour rn so his whole point is kinda doomed just from that
Yeat music is straight dog water. It's mostly kids that listen to that man. I've never heard anyone care to play Yeat unless they just into that typenof music period.
Yeah proving every hater wrong yet I still find his music boring and trash rap listeners are soft I rather listen to harder shit like King Von, EST Gee or Hollowman Giggs
@@andrew23734I find his newest album boring because he failed with the concept and I know a cool 5 projects with the same or similar concepts that landed and did better. Also someone put me on to Big Baby Gucci and I don’t think I can go back to Yeat now.
Holy shit this nigga goesss, thisssss is what good Yeat should sound like @ Can’t Feel Shit. Man niggas really get done bad in our own culture, Jesus, no bs this man is better than bro and I’m 3 tracks deep, this track got me wanting to geek up in the ICU
@@MasterMind468 I used to be the guy that only listened to music with substance, to only find out later that I was being an idiot and closing myself off to a lot of great music… and just bc the lyrics might not have a lot of substance doesn’t mean that the music can’t make you feel something… you can’t be intelligent with a closed off mind.. but suit yourself, master mind 😅😂
You’re telling me you think this guy is a good rapper? 😂 Name me one exceptional bar this guy has. Mumble rap is over. We just went through kendrick vs drake and now you’re telling me Yeat is talented. This is why your channel isn’t that big. You don’t know what rap is
Ive never been to a concert nor will I ever go to one, unless I get my money up, Im a broke boi, I love kanyes music but bros controversial af and I don’t have the motivation to watch one of his interviews or any other of fav artists for that matter
