Being appriciative should start with in ourselves, when we are grateful for who we are and what we have, it would be easier for us to recognize and acknowledge what other people accomplished. Only in this way we can lift ourself from poverty. If we keep on disproving the good thing and Amazing achivment other people achived we will never ever grow and reach where other nations are!!!! Well done Ato Tewelde, Thank you Sheger Thank you Meazi!!!!
I was one of the employees in Ethiopian airlines, I was always proud of our national carrier airline. but, I was shocked when I started to see what the company is becoming from inside. There was a systematic discrimination and or benefit of employees who were identified to a specific ethnic group and political party. this was especially to those of employees who were assigned or removed from managerial positions. If we truly love our airline, we should get rid of this kind of thinking and the person responsible behind this. I do not want to mention names specifically. In addition I know for the fact that there are a lot of qualified employees who are not given the place they deserve with in the company. I hope there will be a mechanism to audit the way management staffs are assigned.
@Tazabi Mna It is the attitude and mind set up like this which is placing our country in an endless destruction loop. First please let us learn also to appreciate what people has done. As for what you have described W/ro Meaza, She is one of the greatest person I appreciate in our media industry. So massive respect for W/ro Meaza and please go on, may God bless you. Second, It is way too wrong to generalize a group or ethnicity based on the wrong doing of some few individuals. if there is some body who has done wrong it should be brought to justice keeping the due process of law. Tigrians or any other group or ethnicity should not be victimized for what some small faction of the society has made. We should be careful not to become a racist while blaming others for racism. Finally dear Tazabi Mna, I am afraid to say that what you yourself doing is the same propaganda which ''we had enough of that for the last three decades'' if you know what I mean. May God forgive all of us.
