Sisyphus was a guy who was punished by having to push u a boulder a mountain and everytime he got to the top, the boulder would roll back down and he'd have to do go back and do push it back up - an endless loop for eternity.
To add on to this, many things in Quadeca’s song mirror the story of sysiphus. The constant rise and fall on the track, the lyrics. It’s just a masterpiece
Sisyphus was not a god, hes saying he's stuck/trapped in a loop like king Sisyphus who's trapped for eternity rolling a massive boulder up a never ending incline lmao nowhere near the same shit Ksi did
Actually, the incline isn’t never ending. It’s just that every time he almost got to the top the boulder would roll back down and so the loop continues. Quad mirrored it perfectly in the beat and production. Starts of simple, bottom of the incline. Gradually gets more busy and complicated as more sounds and layers are added. And then he pulls out all the stops and the production is insane. and then it’s simple again, as the boulder rolls back down
5:29 Sisyphus was never a god he was a king and was punished by rolling a boulder up a hill and once he reached the top the boulder would fall down and he’d have to continue this for eternity
sisyphus wasnt a god tho. the whole point of the story of sisyphus is that he wasnt a god, he was a human. and him trying to be god, got him cought in eternal suffering and a loops of pushing a boulder up a hill
