Recently purchased a Yeelight Skylight, or Rooflight product from yeelight.net.au which is the official AU shop for Yeelight. Having owned several Yeelight and Xiaomi products I've been consistently impressed by their quality, artificial skylight with proper blue sky simulation is something I've been interested in years since Coelux first demonstrated the technology.
I purchased this unit for AUD$500 which is a lot cheaper than getting a proper skylight installed to fill the living room with a high quality bounce light. With the advantage that even during a dark cloudy day in winter we get some nice looking blue sky.
This unit is dimmable but I haven't worked out the installation details yet, aiming to have this setup on a simulated dawn/day/dusk cycle. Unfortunately only the Yeelight Pro skylight models offer full colour changing and wireless control.

Great video, have you set it up yet? Would you recommend it? Could you do a follow up video with it installed immediately interested in getting one but was having second thoughts as no one has made a video on it before

Hey yes I've just installed it, the light isn't designed for a traditional house ceiling it's more geared for an apartment with a false ceiling. I think yeelight could have done better with the mounting options so it could be supported off the plasterboard itself. I made a frame that supported it off the plasterboard which worked well but was still extra work. The quality of the light it provides is really good, just wish it had dimming and day-cycle colour temperature routines.

Can you share where did you get the accessory pack? I have just received the sky light i bought online but realised i dont have the accessory pack to install... and the online store doesn't sell it. Thanks in advance!

well, this is only video of real life review of this light, Thanks for that guys but i must say that i am pretty disappointed in this light itself, the light coming of it is not even close to presented on their website - i mean it is not sharp, and makes soft shadows. Soooo i mean its still good, does the job, but not wow effect as expected - meh, led inside...
