I think sneaker resellers need to get their heads out of the sneaker bubble for a minute. The economy has begun to slow down and people aren't buying like they used to. The rise of food costs, gas, etc has definitely slowed everything down. Invest in assets that are useful down the line, nobody gona care about zebras, oreos, or any yeezy when ppl are struggling to keep up with inflation and rising costs.
Noticed that the more wearable a shoe is, the more likely it is to rebound even with restocks (just like you said). I think people forget that a lot of the shoe market is determined by casual people. Yeah, the shoes aren't as "limited or hyped" as say Travis Scott collabs, but those aren't the shoes your everyday consumer is going to buy.
I don’t really mind 350s kinda bricking. I took an L on the dazzling blue and didn’t have to pay that much more of to cop. The red stripe is my grail sneaker so looking forward to picking those up
@@JoseRamirez-sz6bo I do but that doesn’t change the fact that people are tired of paying resale! I could care less about the perfect time to buy! Just cause the market is down temporarily doesn’t mean people want to spend an extra $60-$300+ for every single shoe! That’s all!
I really can't believe the Oreos dropped that low. They only rereleased once and it was only on Yeezy supply and confirmed, making it waaay more limited than zebras and waverunners
As a fan, restocks are great! I love the fact I can wear my shoes without worrying about paying 600 for another pair. Shoutout Yeezys for being accessible af
Waves were $240 on the previous restock then went back to $300. Yeezy trying to get in on that resale money. I got my faded azure for $240 and love them!
Yeezys are always a risky investment for long term but I’d you get the right ones and hold maybe 3-6 months. They could be good investments if you ask me. The Oreo is my favorite 350 V2. Love them!!!
If you got the capital just keep buying and holding and forgetting about it. Zebras always hit over 350 400. Money ain’t going to do nothing for you from just sitting in your bank account.
Bad to invest in shoes right now the market is crush, much better to wear or collect the kicks forget about the resell or the hype. enjoy ur pair. rock em
Zebra is a decent hold for sure. As long as there is a high demand, the price will go up no matter how many times they restock them. After the nth restock, I just sold my 2019 Zebra in Feb, yes 2 month ago, for $444 right before the restock rumor leaked out. I expect same thing happen by next year. Also, I am probably the only person saying this, price tank after the restock is good thing for resellers who hold their pairs. That means pairs will move fast and price will go up sooner. I'd be worried if all the resellers were asking $400 $500 now and no one could sell their pairs lol
prices are "tanking" becuase they have been re-released... supply and demand...easy econ.... hold they will go back up.... or sell low to me and I will make the profit... your pick, haha
Long term hold. Resell market has died down a bit as the world gets back to normal. They’ll go up, yes, but gonna be a while. If you have only 1 pair though I’d sell now. No sense in waiting years just to put $100 in your pocket lol. As for me personally, I’m holding my pair as trade bait for when the Chicago 1’s drop in October.
Just be mindful that the zebras only make sense to hold if you are willing to hold that shoe for at least a year so that it goes back to it’s pre-Drop price. If you only want to hold a shoe for a month, this is not the shoe for you. Best thing to do is to hold for a year then sell before they re-release them. Good luck to all!!
These Yeezy retail prices are just dumb. Seeing as to how the entire shoe is just one material with a sole, I know these are SUPER cheap to make. Just Kanye being Kanye. I’m done with Yeezy completely personally and resell wise, unless like you said, it’s an OG colorway. Shoot, there’s like 100 different colors of 350s lol. How many does someone really need!?
@@gq2055 I’m neither. I’m a reseller. And since you’re waiting, there’s a difference between almost every pair of $100 dunks fetching $60-$100+ profit and a pair of $300 Yeezys fetching $40 lol. 90% of dunks that drop have decent profit margins. Can’t say the same of Yeezy products. You’re out of your mind if you think Yeezy is comparable to Jordan/Nike on today’s resell market. This isn’t 2016, bro. Chris’ video today is literally a resell prediction video, not a typical sneaker head “hey look at my cool shoes” video. So if you prefer something else- good for you lol I’m just commenting in a manner that relates to the video and if you watched the whole video you would hear that Chris agrees on the current state of the Yeezy brand on the resell market.
Nobody wanna pay resale anymore. Resellers are just selling and trading with eachother at this point cause ppl like me who buys shoes to wear them don’t care about resell value for sneakers. Especially sneakers that don’t have any true iconic value (such as Chicago and Bred 1’s and other classic retros that Jordan ACTUALLY wore)
Got an offer on Tradeblock for a Yeezy 350 Bred for my Georgetown 85. After seeing how they do Yeezys, I had to decline because it's only a matter of time before the Breds restock and become a $300 shoe.
Beluga reflectives should be included in the discussion on recent re releases. I think the Yeezy that had a longer gap in re release will tend to recover better resale wise. So Oreos will do better than Zebras and Waves as they have released more often so more stocks in general and lesser hold time. Oreos and next Reds are going to do much better in the long run as i dont think they will re release as often as Zebras and Waves did.
Cause the point is to get ppl the shoes. Don’t understand the logic in ppl upset for dope kicks that are actually decently price if that’s even a thing but the fact ya want to buy sneakers for 1k and more says a lot
@@wildstylecollective You are just speculating or hoping it goes up in value it doesnt matter how many you buy it doesnt change anything. you hope it goes up or risk losing you money and it is not like holding stock to control the decisions of a company.
Anyone have any success deleting and making a new confirmed account? I hate to do it because it has decent amount of purchase history but I haven't won once on confirmed since the switch back.
100% i've been trying forever to get a size 13 for the toe and it just isn't possible. If it was 20-30 over retail i'd buy it but I refuse to pay +100 over retail just because I got a big foot.
I don't think it's a good time to invest in sneakers at all with inflation rising every month. Wait until we start the recession next year; it'll be even worse.
Still kind of mad Kanye restocked the Oreos I got my pair back in like 2016 or 2017 something like that and I think I paid like $700-$800 now there almost below $300 nothing special anymore😭 at least I hit on the zebra’s🔥
After seeing what it cost retail, the zebras are a hold . $260 retail? Unless you resell for a living, not a good buy. You not making anything on these.
@@Zrekaens I hit on the ship to me option. $257.19 after tax. But they pulled the rug underneath me. Put the money back in my account. Not crying about it though.
Did you know that you can go to heaven for free? This one decision can change your eternity forever. Jesus died for both mine and your sins. All you have to do is confess that you’re a sinner and accept Jesus as your savior.👍🏽
