Great Singer ...Talat sab fantastically and amazingly sang this song years ago....nobody can sing like Talat....no substitute for Talat..Manjari is a super singer...still it is sad to say that Manjari couldn't sing this well....

Manjari is one of the BEST artist of our times. Despite being from South her Urdu songs are delivered in such a perfect way that some Pakistani singers like Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan and Rahat Fateh Ali cannot match. She has a class and of course she is the BEST dressed lady on India or Pakistan's silver stage.
To think and to sing nicely a song of Talat Sahab, it's a matter of great courage and self confidence. A full justification to voice of Talat Sahab...Congratulations.
But she's not Talat. She's singing someone else's song doesn't mean she is not as good as Talat or someone else. We're all different. But we all learn or copy from someone. That is the reason we go to school. All text books are written by someone.
Talat songs must be sung by those who have that level of delicacy that Talat voice has. Also the words of this gazal are well chosen words. The singer now singing has presure imposed in her voice to stay in tune with the tune of the song.
