We have known for several months now that Yelawolf was collaborating with Machine Gun Kelly for 'Rowdy'. It has been no secret. It was all over his personal instagram account. The song along with it's video was already done before the Eminem/MGK thing. Yela did exactly what he said on his 'Bloody Sunday' freestyle. That everybody would know his feelings about him. This song is the answer to that. Yela never said he was going to diss him, and anybody that thought so is a result of their own damn interpretation of the line. People really lose their minds over a simple name drop. Yelawolf made his point clear, there should have been no confusion for anybody following the situation. He did nothing wrong. He kept marketing the album and in the end he also got a shit ton of promotion out of it which is even better! No 'sucka shit' here! Not hating. It just needed to be addressed.

I'm with you about how he promoted this but I expected it because I already knew they did a song together and it wouldn't have made sense for him to drop that line in Bloody Sunday unless he was keeping mgk on the album. I'm a fan of yela and think he's top tier but I prefer him in small doses. I rather get a slow drip rollout of a projects material (songs along the lines of Bloody Sunday) over the course of several months than one of his albums all at once. For some reason it starts to get tedious after about 25-30 mins and I got to switch up and listen to something else unless it's some playlist I put together of stuff he's done over the years. Probably why I feel like he's one of the goats but don't consider him one anytime I'm asked what my list is/my top 10 or whatever. I'm not a fan of this song but it has nothing to do with how I feel about mgk, if mgk dropped something I liked I'd rock it.
