I have been a fan and listening to your music for years. One of my biggest wishes is to meet you or at least go to a concert before I die. Not sure when that will be I just know it's a lot closer than I ever thought it would be. I use to joke all the time that I would live at least until the age of 103 and out live my maternal grandmother. Instead I get to go be with her and finally meet my maternal grandfather. He is Cherokee, straight up Cherokee and passed before I was born im one of those kids that was born very much late in life so was my mom. My grandfather was born in 1887, I know it was 188 something I want to listen to his "back in the good ole days" stories. I've just always felt a strange connection with him even though I never met him like I miss him deeply or something. Hard for me to explain. It makes me more at ease about knowing my time is shorter than expected with having to leave my 5 children my youngest is only 14, oldest is 36 so he's in good hands. Thank you for making life easier to deal with through your words and your music.

I am So proud of his journey.

I can only wish. I wish for other people to understand music and musicians are so much more than the box some people try to lock musicians and their creations up in. Musicians put their creation out in the world so it has room to take root, grow and blossom into something that helps people in one form or another. Its always music people reach for or make it their "go to" when they need something strong to help with the fight of life. Instead of trying to stomp it deep in the ground why not help it blossom into something bigger than anyone could imagine. People never know it could be the thing that turns their life around into a life of their dreams. If it gets stomped deep into the ground people never would experience the possibilities.
