Welcome to another Big Island Hawaii fishing adventure episode! Yessah Fishing along with Kaulu @catchnkook head to the cliffs of south point hawaii for some drone fishing shoreline jigging action. Watch our drone fishing method and learn how we were able to get a productive night of fishing for Akule (Big Eye Scad). Later in this episode we managed to get a huge yellow spot papio on a Campania Abalone grub and boy it gave quite a fight!

Nah keep um! They were cracking the singles, but they were biting 150 yards out, by the time we bring it in the mouth rip and they shake the hook.

@@garajiseru4087 there are definitely pros and cons to drone fishing but if used the right way in the right areas with favorable winds then it can be very productive, you can cover more ground on just one drop, it's quite the experience 🙏🙏🙏

Dat barracuda looking fish is a “Hauliuli”. We catch um on every hook on the kaka rig night time deep dropping for opakapaka. Super slimy, irritating fish lol

Hoo the fish that you guys caught at 9:00 does not look like a mongoose fish. Looks pretty similar to a belt fish though and those fish are delicacy’s in Japan

@@hojimoo4189 I seen that after that night when I got home, there was a few guys on IG saying that it was a ribbon fish and 9 people saying it was a mongoose fish or they just call it that haha. There are certain characteristics of this fish that I was not sure of. The ribbon fish I see on google doesn't have a fork tail as to which this one does and the dorsal fin of the ribbon fish runs from head to tail and the one I caught didn't, tbh it resembled a little more like a lancet fish/ribbon fish or somewhere in between.

We tested the Swellpro Spry drone today, catchnkook got it off the FB marketplace. It flies pretty good, although it was missing some parts we could not test it in the water. So cool that you can fly it in the rain, really productive for dropping jigs without worrying about it getting wet.

My first drone cost me about 200 bucks, it landed my first Ahi and many other species. I believe that drone has definitely saved me money due to it's efficiency. I used to blow a lot of money on gas and drive 50 miles to a spot and be there all day only to catch a few small fish. With the Drone I could cover more ground in one drop increasing my chances. So I say yes definitely saved me money for sure. Pahoa, nice! I always wanted to try to do a drop down HPP side too. Gotta link up sometime 🎣💤💤💤

I purchased this UV light from my local fishing store for about 10 bucks, I have no idea what brand it is, you can find some on eBay or Amazon.
