I follow another RU-vidr for this game and I have beat all the bosses with his help… however this is the first boss that I couldn’t beat…. After watching your video here i was able to beat him! Thank you so much this is the best guide by far for this boss!
Yellowbrow has definitely been the least enjoyable boss so far. What the hell man, so many fases and not a single one is fun. Especially that last part is just boring and annoying time waste mechanics. If it didn't have all those dumb mechanics and was just a fight with a nice moveset it'd have been 1000x better.; I'll add this in the edit, the fucking most annoying thing of all is him swinging has ball around and if you get unlucky in his swing he can stunlock 100-0 you. That stupid ball swinging has killed me more than anything else. The it does damage in every position, even in recovery animation of the ball, he leaps 20x farther than you'd think and even without stunlock, it kills in 3 hits.
Really useful. I am on the 3 phase of the fight, did not know I could step out to the shine and back to finish it, question is if I finish it does it locks me out of any quests from chapter 3? I have not visited the cell in the Pagoda since I left also have couple of bosses to get and also the fox quest; will it be all there if I best this final chapter 3 boss?
@@Chris-oq6knGo to your inventory, use the talisman and you will be transported to your last shrine, reckon it is the one before you enter the temple for this fight, from there you can do whatever you want or need before you finish the fight, when you enter the temple again you will appear in the hallway right before the third and last phase of the fight, I am assuming you fought yellowbrow then beaten the monkey then where at the check point between the second and third phase; if you finish the fight you end chapter 3, I am not sure if you lose any quests or if you can go back to finish any previous task, I have not finish it yet myself, will be playing some time tonight
Bro thank you! This worked so well! I died a couple of times I’m not gon lie but….here me out ya’ll his move set is very obnoxious unlike the rest and very annoying I had to buckle down and focus! Once I followed your video to a tee I was good!
I think the strategy is amazing and I'm trying it. I just can't get my charge to charge fast enough and I run out of mana. So I'm interested to know if I need to farm more levels. Got a subscriber here from this video! Thanks!
It worked like 70% in my favour.. I will say Key is to get 1st 2 phases out as quick as possible.. i get hits although.. but still i have 70% drink with me.. like u showed I tried to followed same.. some time things got changed.. like in 1st phase when u do clowd stage i did same.. but he dissapeared same time so mine 1 got wasted.. but then I just run with 3 focus and smash stance.. i got 1 hit but covered some with hit hard to him same time.. 2nd phase also 1 time i forgot to change stance hahaha from smash to thrust.. that was my mistake.. I do doge by i not that great in that si get 2-3 time hit in 1st 2 phase.. but i had ring of fire upgraded to get me heal when I am in ring.. he do 1 thunder thing in that or timing was same not sure so i tok hit of thunder but rin of fire give me focus and full heath same time... Then in 3rd stage I did not have cloud step but rest I used same what u showed.. I have 70% drink to heal me so i managed rest with my smash stance/thrust stance heavy attack.. In the end after seeing this and just be calm I defeted him in my 1st attampt.. My over all attempt was 3 .. In my 1st 2 time I tried my way that helped me to have my own way of fight.. AFter your we play as our own gameplay style..
this boss is the most inconsistent boss in soulslike game history. I've used the same strat over and over (guaranteed 3rd phase 80% time) and I'm noticing now half the time im doing it he's breaking into gold mode sooner than usual. he's going gold mode more often, and my focus meter travels up more slowly on my later attempts, immobilze meter goes based off melee attacks yet when I'm on my second charge it literally just stops sometimes. this boss fight has changed me opinion on this game drastically. honestly just terribly designed
Jesus did they buff this guys difficulty? Goes gold sometimes at the beginning and 2 full charge attacks didnt take him out of gold. This version looks much more appetizing
I defeated the first phase and got to the second phase, but then I died and when I came back I have to repeat the first phase again. why? I thought it locked in my progres. edit: I died right at the very end of my fight with the second phase the first time around and I guess the boss died as I died and when I respond, I was actually coming to phase 3, which I didn't even know existed at the time, and thinking I was respawning back to phase one again. I just defeated phase 3, thinking it was phase one, the story progressed. weird stuff lol
This boss was the most annoying one so far. Only boss I have had to look up how to fight simply because of his gold form that rendered all of my spells ineffective.
literally everytime i cloud step and start charging up my heavy thrust, he either turns and slams down his vertical attack directly to where i am or starts the lightning spots that track where you are so i just die lol
No problem, glad it helped! Unfortunately I didn't make a guide on Yin Tiger. I kind of forgot about him and didn't go back to the fight until super late into the game so I was over leveled and crushed him pretty quickly haha
Not sure if it was luck, but I cloud stepped right as he was doing that unavoidable attack and it didn't hit me. I got in some decent hits in from that.. Anyway, the little extra damage from the powered up thrust attack when he does the electric ring, after going into cloud step, was all I needed to put him down. Great video dude 👍
The times he teleport out of that circkel in fase 2 is alot, charging takes a long time. You have to try to build so focus points. For some reason when i play passive he just teleport...
@@Schrawgs You just don’t hit him with a any light attacks and when use cloud step it’s only in the second faze and after where he does that lighting ring but your guide was so helpful so thanks
