@I200gI Yeah, the violinist (Sean Mackin) was in the WTT's when the planes hit, and one of the firemen evacuating the building was comforting a woman by saying "everything is gonna be alright, everything is gonna be alright, be strong, believe.", and later died when the towers collapsed. Sean Mackin heard him saying it and decided to write a song paying tribute to the firemen, medical workers and police officers that died on 9/11. Great song.
Bellissima qst canzone!!!E' davvero una delle mie preferite...! E anche se il cantante sembra un po' imbambolato in sto video gli Yellowcard sn dei grandi!!!
@maubi1993 this was when ryan (singer of yellowcard) blew out his voice and did not no he needed to have surgery so he is straining his voice so much during this era of the bands career
Everyone talks about Ryan. Listen to the drummer! Int he songs. All the songs. Hes a drumming beast. hes probably the most talented of the band. Think. Without drums you wouldn't be a band :P
Ryan is so busy playing guitar, maybe you dont wanna hear about this, but I agree with the one saying they should make Ryan concentrating on singing job...
Well, I know for a fact he doesn't sound tired in all his shows since I saw them live this year, so he was probably sick. Sore throat or something. I don't think he sounds bad here though. You're all a bit critical lol. I love this song
if you didn't know, he had to have surgery on his throat after this, that's why he doesn't sound his best, because he's not at him best! :] Yellowcard forever and always!~
They're a rock band. It'll never sound the same as on the record; the only music that sounds the same on the record and live is pop music because its lipsynced while they dance around on stage.
ya during that time he was sick on tour. I went to a show he was sick on and then a show he wasnt sick and it was a huge differance. I think he had to have surgury to fix the problem
technically, a fiddle is different, its tuned slightly different, and positioned differntly. im a violin player of 7yrs exp and im currently expirementing in rock violin, i agree tho, i love rock on violin. . still not a fiddle tho. .
everybody here is a nub speicaly the rehab girl and you like only look at ocean ave paper walls got one of the best cd ratig in 5 years some ppl even said it was better than ocean ave but it was deffinatly up there with ocean ave and ryan keys voice always gets meesed up when he sings belive and ocean ave been to alot of of there concerts
this song is greaat. its a pitty trhat they dont do clips with images. and also that the singer fails on many notes. does he get nervous or something or is it true he had vocal surgery? just like Molly-O, jeje, i remembered..
well come on people.. songs sung in life performances aren't that good.. i've heard other bands playing life which really suck but here.. its not bad.. YELLOW CARD rox!!
okay you all are wrong. firstly this performance must have been in 2003,2004 because this is when they released ocean avenue and in 2005 ben harper left and if you new yellowcard well enough in this performance ben is playing guitar so firstly that means this was greater then 1 year before ryans operation on his cyst. so just to clear it up they are amazing live just not a great performance.
