Man, 2:38 that clean vocal. No fucking autotune, pitch connector, muffled-blury effect in voice. Just pure, raw singing and breathing. I love this shit so much.
God I miss 2009. Leaving the last day of school on a summer Friday, me and my friends piling into my car, turning on the radio throwing in the yellow card CD and just jamming out. Nowhere to go. No destination, just us, yellow card, and the open road. One of the best summer’s I’ve ever had!
i unfortunately didn't get to graduate in the 2000s (born in 03) but both of my brothers did and it's had a HUGE influence on me suffice it to say, when i graduated last year and we went on a road trip westward to phoenix to finally spend 2 weeks at home, the whole road trip soundtrack was yellowcard and various other late 90s-2000s flavors like sugar ray & blink
Left the ground In black and white And when the plane went down The colors all around I know by now The marching slide And still I can´t get out, she´s all I think about, can´t let her go It´s who you know We came down to watch the world walk by And all she found was trouble in my eyes From the sky she pulled me down tonight Let her go Let her go She moves fast, Takes control and like a heart attack I know I can´t turn back And time just passed Nights moved slow And she was all I had, I thought I´d never last, can´t let her go It´s who you know We came down to watch the world walk by And all she found was trouble in my eyes From the sky she pulled me down tonight Let her go Let her go (x2) She calls out the farther that I fly I love that sound so give me one more line And from the sky she pulled me down tonight Let her go Let her go Let her go Let her go
I used to listen to this when I was like 15 y/o. I was emo and depressed. I suffered so much throughout my adolescence, i thought I wouldn't survive. But here I'm. 10years later, Iam alive, I don't have a perfect life but I have a nice job, a cool family and... Iam ... overall happy. I'm thankfull that I couldn't kill myself and Iam thankfull for finding this amazing song.
Yellowcard had lots of showcase songs, often times they hammer out a new side of their face into a masterpiece. This song is their showcase for me and hits the hardest, It feels like everyone in the band broke up with this girl.
For some reason whenever I'm feeling really down and overwhelmed with life, I just listen to this song and it's like instant medication. Idk why but this is the only song that calms me down and makes me feel better after each time I listen to it.
I witnessed an amazing band just starting out, they were rocking it in the basement of an apartment I lived in. They asked if anyone had a request, so I asked them if they could pull off Yellowcard. They did this song, and I was amazed at what a good job they did without having an electric fiddle, I should have recorded it and uploaded it here. I don't normally sing a long with garage bands like that, but I honestly thought I was hearing Yellowcard.
I was 12 Years Old that I played Flatout 2 with this Song in my ears. And now...10 Years later i still listen to it. I wish such good music will come back to casual Racing Games. The Feel of Speed is not guaranteed with shitty Dubstep x)
man, if you really like good music and flat out 2, I recommend that you listen to Alkaline Trio. They may not be well known but daaam that is a really good band
dear yellowcard, thank you for always giving us great music. lyrics, vocals, drums, violin, bass, guitar, everything just sound AMAZING. one of the greatest bands i ever heard. well, THE greatest band i ever heard. SERIOUSLY. I literally have ALL your albums and they are invading my ipod. can't think of a single song i dislike. i literally love every song you made. sincerely, you're my first love.
_¡Best soundtrack of all times!_ Its like runnin´ in the game, in an epic moment, and then... _From the sky she pulled me down tonight_ _¡Let her gooooo!_
Im still jamming this out. I love and miss Yellowcard. So many good memories and times while listening to this back in highschool. 7 years since I've really heard yellowcard...This band deserved much more. Still haven't forgotten about you guys!
So, saw these last night, definitaly the best concert i've ever been to! They played this live and everyone went mental! The circle pit for lights and sounds was just EPIC!
Wow Sean Mackin aqui hizo un esplendido trabajo, su violín en esta canción lo es todo y es lo que vuelve a esta canción tan power... No puedo creer que eso sucedió hace 16 años. Fueron buenos tiempos.
I used to play flat out 2 when I was small kid. Rediscovered this song after like 10 years. It's on repeat last days. I still cannot answer if the listening of this song was better in the past or now. The chorus is so awesome. Makes me feel alive.... Not that man songs are able to do this...
Ya know I've always been surprised by how they blend in such a classical instrument like a violin in the punk music genre I think its one of the most creative and unique ways I've seen a violin being used

Yellowcard will always be my favorite band of all time. And this is one of my favorites songs of all time. Anyone notices that suitcase is the same from the ocean avenue video ?
Yes, yes and yes!!! I got Yellowcard lyrics tattooed on me 11 years ago and it's still my favorite tattoo. I miss this band sooo much, gotta say I'm not that impressed by Ryan Key's newer work..
Sitting in a crisis center with cuts on my hands and wrists and thigh as a 15 year old kid waiting to talk to a counselor this song was playing in my ears and helped me get through that stressful moment my girlfriend made the playlist special for me that night on a mixtape before she drove me there with my mom on the way after she found out I was cutting myself song will always have a special place in my heart
Trust me, if you listen to this while being in action (Workout, racing games, racing in reality, ETC) You can Feel the speed and the power that thursts trought you and unlock the greatness the current objectives hardness, while you realise, that you Did it and did it professionaly.
I looked for this song for over a year due to falling absolutely in LOVE with the opening part... but that's all I had heard. I didn't hear lyrics or anything else. Just the opening 10 seconds and then I accidentally stumbled across it one day. Y'all, I was SO SO excited when I found it.
Everytime i watch this video and hear this song, I cry, not only because the song is so beautiful, but because Yellowcard means my whole childhood for me, I love this song and I love them too. Yellowcard Forever!
