Do you want a Plate Boat? Do you want to go offshore in safety and comfort? Well we thing you need a Yellowfin 6500 with a Yamaha F150hp 4-stroke.
These Yellowfin are built seriously tough, with 6mm bottom plates, longitudinal stringers, a fully welded floor, and additional strengthening. Remember the Yellowfin are built by Telwater, the same factory that produce the legendary Trident Plate boats, and obviously the rest of the quality Quintrex range.
The boat comes with every one's favorite trailer - the Quintrex aluminium trailer with a Catch and Release bracket for 1 person trailering. We've put a SARCA Anchor as standard which suits this boat very well, a top of the range anchor.
Standard features such as the non-stick pads at the side and front of the boat, aluminium welded rod holders, quality folding rear ladder and transom door/step, live bait & kill tanks, and so much more really sets this boat apart from those 'custom plate boats' some bloke throws together in a shed.
Comfortable ergonomic adjustable/sliding seats are important on a boat like this for when the conditions are rough. If you need a rest or wish to sleep overnight, you won't have a problem with a huge bunk and infil. Bunk side pockets, a glovebox, 12v chargers, and back rests are a great addition to the bunk.
Rubber tube-matting covering the fully welded floor is a welcome addition to ensure grip and comfort on when fishing. Also it reduces the glace a lot which is a great little benefit.
A couple of Yamaha LAN gauges tell you everything you'll want to know, and you won't have a problem driving with Yamaha's 703 control box.
Keeping you dry and comfortable is the Brisbane Yamaha custom front and side clears, using high quality upholstery to suit Australian conditions.
A boat this size benefits from Trim Tabs, included is the best - Volvo Trim Tabs. You will see the Trim Tabs in action during the high speed on water footage.
On the back is the unbelievable Yamaha F150HP 4-Stroke, a very high achiever and favorite for many large plate boat owners. It pushes this boat along perfectly and is famous for is legendary reliability. We also put a F130HP 4-stroke on the back of these boats which also perform well.
The hull on the Yellowfins are special; a 19' dead-rise, a MASSIVE 730mm freeboard, and a very deep-v entry.
As you will see the on water footage is very impressive - the water is squirted out horizontally. This Yellowfin handles chop without any issues, hammering through it at 60kph give a soft comfort ride inside.
Cornering isn't a problem, you won't even need to slow down, a very sure-footed boat.
