I already feel so protective of this whole cast; I was surprised to be emotional at just their introductions. It's like when you're new favorite band takes the stage 🫶

The entire cast is grade A. They did such an amazing job casting. For the ones of us who grew up in the 90’s when the adults were becoming famous, this whole show just gives me that nostalgia feeling when I turn it on. It’s the best.

It goes without saying that everyone's participation in this show is terrific, but DAMN Jonathan Lisco is a deeply intelligent writer; hearing him break down the details behind his writing and the writing team is fascinating!

They really have created such complete characters in this show. Not just as they were written, but the acting and the cast they chose are superb in their timing and delivery. There's so much to latch onto, so many endearing and repulsive traits in each one of the characters that you can look past the horrendous and destructive things they do, to really empathize with the human beings they are at their core.

MESSAGE to Bart Nickerson, Ashley Lyle, Jonathan Lisco from me, a rabid YJ fan: I assume that writing has not yet commenced for S3 because of the Hollywood Writer's Strike, but whenever you are cleared to resume, please create at least one segment of an episode for S3 in the 1996 timeline detailing what is happening back in Wiskayok, NJ among the parents, friends and school teachers and administration with the soccer champions' plane having gone missing (if you would please be so kind). Where have authorities been searching for the downed plane. What kind of "buzz" 🐝is on the tv news and in local newspapers regarding the plane's disappearance? Have there been prayer vigils complete with candles and singing as those at home cling to vestiges of hope? Have Lottie's and Jackie's wealthy parents been throwing millions of dollars into the search-and-rescue-effort? Have others at home given up hope and begun to host memorial services for the teens and their coaches who are by now (Winter season), presumed dead? Is Jeff "losing his mind," worrying about *both* Jackie and Shauna? What about Coach Ben Scott's boyfriend, Paul? Is he still clinging to hope, or has he mourned, then moved on with another man??? I'm sure you folks can come up with all kinds of intriguing plotlines that address those questions, but that is simply my two cents. Thank you for creating such a brilliant show!!!
