Wow! Some of those neighbourhoods looks really nice! I lived in Yellowknife from 1985 to 1995 from 19 to 29 y.o. I'm currently in Tampa and planning to retire in the Philippines in a few months. But my career and a computer systems analyst began in Yellowknife NWT. Thanks for sharing.
Is it not a cold rocky kind of desert of canada and only govt can really employ people. These places being expensive is not surprising. For example, places like iceland and greenland are similarly expensive and less populated. I would like to add that most places in the world are expensive to live amd work but very interesting to visit once.. Surely this place is worth visiting once as a tourist
