Yellowstone is renowned for its abundant wildlife and having the greatest concentration of geysers, mud pots, and hot springs in the world. However, -- during this visit -- we explore the hidden gems and regions of the park many visitors never get a chance to experience. The Yellowstone River is the longest free-flowing river in the lower 48 states. This force of nature flows through the park and -- over thousands of years -- carved out what is known as the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone.
Most visitors view the spectacular one-thousand-foot-deep canyon from the rim but we hike down into the canyon for an up-close view of Lower Falls -- the largest of three dramatic waterfalls along the river. Then, we explore this powerful river from another unforgettable perspective. There is no whitewater rafting inside the park but just outside its northern boundaries, we try our hand at navigating the twists and turns of this wild river. It’s hard to say what’s more thrilling; the white-water rapids we encounter or the incredible wildlife we see along the way!
More than three million people visit Yellowstone every year and leave behind a lot of garbage. Before leaving the park, we lend a hand to a project designed to turn all that trash into compost and recycled treasures so that eventually -- nothing will need to go to a landfill. Join us for up-close encounters with wildlife, heart-pounding adventures with whitewater and a wonderfully unique way to explore America’s first national park.

Thanks so much! I would LOVE to get him out there! He’s down in Georgia these days, so it’s a bit harder. But we will try!
