No, thicker makes the soap thick and heavy, but that doesn't mean you should pour in excessive water. If you over pour the water, it will be watering again Rice powder or buster helps in foaming

It is "rice powder" a foaming agent. We also have "foam buster" which is also a foaming agent. You can use any of them to help increase the laddering in your soap.
