I teached my mother in law with the same recipe n step, after she cooked, she said to me, why she make same dish but different flavour.. And i asked, are u follow my recipe n step? She said, yes.. But after she told me, oohh.. Now i know, why the dish taste so different.. Different step..

I don’t know about you, but I still prefer the original hotteok. I had the best gul hotteok at MyeongDong street. There are many there, but only this cart could beat them all. They go by the name of Lee Hotteok (이호떡), usually parked around the huge H&M near the myeongdong police station. I try to go back every year just to eat that hotteok. I’ve eaten many hotteok, even the ones at gwangjang market, and they could not beat this guy selling at myeongdong. I’m crying now thinking about it. Also, if you go to Gwangjang market to eat the kalguksu by the famous Netflix auntie, she makes really good spicy cold noodles (aka bibim naengmyeon, bi-naeng for short).
