Yeovil Pen Mill.. 70000 Britannia, 37254, 37116, IETs and DMUs.. 22/03/2023 

70000 Britannia had been booked as a guest locomotive at Swanage Railway Steam Gala and in order to get the locomotive to Swanage it was routed via Yeovil Pen Mill to Weymouth before reversing onwards towards Wareham and te Swanage Railway.It called at Yeovil Steam Centre for servicing and turning so it was going to be in and out of Yeovil Pen Mill Yard a couple of times. As a bonus Network Rail ran a Test Train from Derby to Bristol via Weymouth with top and tail 37s which I could also see.
On top of all that the Great Western Main Line through Bridgwater was closed for engineering work so GWR services were diverted by the old Southern Route from Exeter to Yeovil Junction and down the branch to Yeovil Pen Mill and up to Castle Cary to rejoin the GWR main Line. Plus the usual trains to and from Weymouth.
I decided to film the events of my stay, to show the variation of trains, Class 158,159,165 DMUs and Hitachi IETs, from around midday until the 37s departed at 17.50.
