Yerevan Metro, Armenia - Երևանի մետրո (1 of 2) 

Here's the first part of our trip on the Yerevan Metro in late 2023. The system's official name is the Karen Demirchyan Yerevan Subway and it consists of one line and a shuttle service. The first section opened in 1981 and it was the eighth metro system in the Soviet Union. Other sections opened progressively through to 1987.
The system is served by Metrovagonmash carriages (81-717 in two-car formation) but we managed to spot one three-car train - see if you can find it on our film!
