literally relate so much to this right now! I’m leading worship at my church for the first time this Sunday…so nervous but also know God is calling me out of my comfort zone to grow me and bless others. We’ve got this girlies 💗

I'm laughing so hard right now 🤣 I DID THE SAME THING at university (& thought I'm the only one) - I skipped every presentation possible - just hated it so much. But now I've got my own business, and talking in front of more than 5 people in Zoom became quite a regular thing, so God is encouraging & supporting me in doing it and enjoying it. // I LOVE BestiesBibleClub - and you are doing so amazing at it 🧡 Bless you 🧡

I can relate with the fear of public speaking all too well. There was a time when the thought of presenting in front of colleagues or classmates, even on subjects I knew inside out, would fill me with dread. It felt as if my own body was betraying me; I'd turn red, tremble uncontrollably, and my voice would quiver as if I were on the verge of tears. The frustration was immense because there seemed to be no clear reason for this reaction. I would also avoid presentations and make sure I could still pass the class. Despite trying breathing exercises and mental preparation, nothing seemed to help. The turning point came when I began using beta blockers before any public speaking engagement, which remarkably transformed my ability to communicate with confidence. Over time, I managed to wean off the beta blockers and now find myself able to manage my anxiety without them. I still have no idea why this fear even began but I’m glad I’m better these days.

Hi Annika! I know exactly how you feel. It is nerve-wracking to speak in front of a lot of people. And presenting face-to-face is even more nerve-wracking. I am a Mental Health Educator. My marketing agency suggested I start speaking in venues and using a microphone. This is too much for me sometimes lol. I rather present on Zoom or in small in-person conference rooms. But my advice is to always try things out. If it gets to a point where it's affecting your sleep or your mental health then I would take a little break. You are fantastic Annika!!! And you are special! You truly can touch people in their hearts. At the end of the day, we do it for our Father God!! Let him continue to guide us down our chosen path. Love ya!! xoxo
