In this vlog Matt goes off about the Disney reservation system ! The plan was to enter Epcot and check out the New CommuniCore Building and Festival area. Things got very frustrating as we tried to enter the park and Matt does not hold back! Yes we finally get to the tour of Epcot's newest addition CommuniCore!

I would have been as livid as you. If after arriving I was informed that, Cast members weren’t allowed in. Specially if the park was not at capacity. Absolutely absurd and makes no sense. Hopefully, y’all will be able to enjoy it as a family soon.

Disney has always been like that with it’s cast members. Unfortunately, most businesses are. Paying customers above employees-always.

Ugh that stinks about the cast member entry - that is frustrating! Cast members should be allowed to go to all parks anytime. I think they should get early entry too! They work so hard, they deserve to enjoy their days off

That’s disappointing esp if the park is basically dead. So this leads me to this question… I remember many years ago being in college and wanting to participate in the Disney College Program. One of the perks is on your limited time off you could go to any park and have fun. Is that no longer the case? Is everyone working at Disney subjected to the these rules? Seems there was so much more freedom years ago compared to now.

Yes, the college program has the same maingate policy. Disney really has changed cast member availability since they incorporated the reservation policy. I understand policies and respect them but a little common sense with the maingate access would be so beneficial for cast members. 😎

How is it that Disney was easier to maneuver 20 years ago with way less technology? Cast members should be allowed in ANYTIME, they deserve it Either way great vlog

Many Cast Members work weekends and special events I get the idea if prime blocking. but during the day on a non-festival weekday at EPCOT

You’ve every right to be aggrieved I’d say, it’s about the communication. Obviously they have the right to pull ‘Cast Member’ concession in peak times and alike, but give people notice. I feel disgusted the fact that Roberta is sitting in the car, where’s the empathy from the people on the gate! As I mentioned at the outset, it’s all about “Communication” Chin up and ‘love ya’ Roberta x

Thank you Scott! I respect Disney's rules for sure , they definitely need to improve their cast member access policies. 😎 Epcot was definitely not busy,a great opportunity to invite cast members in a see CommuniCore so they have the information needed to share with guests. 😎
