You should sell your projects with your time getting paid for. Even if you're doing it for content, YT isn't going to pay enough to make it fair to you. Only making $100 over your costs, I mean, damn! Look at the value of the projects upon completion, my friend! If you want to give a discount on it then, I'm sure whoever buys it will be happy. But it seems to me, that you're still working for free, and that's not right. For you especially.
I think you’re right about that. However I do need to constantly change my content it was brought up that I need to charge more to cover the wear and tear on my truck and trailer. I am currently still paying payments on those. So I am going to address that in my next video. Between us I will charge what I think the vehicle is worth after I’m done with the video. I’ve been buying and selling cars a long time and I’ve always sold under fair market price in order to move it fast. Thank you for your input on that subject.
@@DEADCARRESCUE Selling under value is ok, just so long as you actually make money. To me, you are doing things to the vehicles most people can't do themselves, and would have to pay someone much higher rates to get done, but I just don't think only making $100 just for content is fair to you. Only making $2 an hour for you labor isn't sustainable. Not like it's 1970 and $2 is a normal wage!🤣 Be safe, my friend.
Congratulations on your retirement! I can't wait to cross that finish line myself. I'm getting way too old to be freezing my butt off working outside!😜
Steve, whether you do a video weekly or monthly, I can guarantee you I ain't gonna be dropping off from your channel, I enjoy it too much, and like I said before, the way you are on camera makes it feel like I'm hanging out with a car buddy. Dig the tune played and the new intro with the Fairlane pulling up and centering to the front plate.
