That song is super extra tight me and my son keep playing it especially when you start out singing man it moves your insides im like what the its addictive
Just saw them in French Quarter, Jan 5th 2015 and fell in love with the music! A very creative mix of gypsy-hungarian music and blue grass? or is it zydeco? And the tone and voice reminds me of Nick Cave, somber, deep and soulfull! Bought the tape of course. This type of ethnic and creative music is the music of tomorrow! Take note: they will be famous, esp. with this song!
i saw this group in Victoria BC in September 2014 and love them . I was lucky enough to get a CD from them and its nearly worn out I love it so much .Keep up the good work guys and I will see you down under soon cheers Phil from Australia
WOW, the sound quality on the streets of New Orleans is amazing. I'm guessing an on-camera mic with a high def little camera of some kind. It's really wonderful that we can see and hear your experience there on RU-vid! This song is wonderful and the passion of the singer.. very strong! The banjo player is fun to watch too and that fiddle is smokin! I mean the fiddle player is smokin.. literally, smoking and puffing, like a dragon playing a fiddle! Thanks for posting!!!
I love this group. I'm impressed with all of them but the guitar man is something else.......great voice and the way he performs is just so darned kewl..
From her bowing technique, I'd guess that Elena has studied classical violin. But I hope she never stops playing New Orleans street fiddle. I love her work on 'Roll in My Sweet Baby's Arms'.
RedT More important, she’s extraordinarily talented. That’s Defne “Dizzy” Incirlioglu. She’s also a member of the Shake ‘Em Up Jazz Band. And she’s played from time to time with Tuba Skinny, occasionally taking Robin Rapuzzi’s place on the washboard.
