@@sophiadodson8778i actually started exfoliating at a young age, before it was popularized on the internet, due to instructions from my highly experienced dermatologist. educate yourself before you attack young children on the internet. :)
@@sophiadodson8778that’s not making excuses? some people get their periods extremely early or they just get acne. yes they shouldnt be using retinol, but a scrub for their face is okay to be exfoliating…
@@sophiadodson8778 lol I am 10 and bro I don't do skincare but my skin is clear like here's what I do: Wash my face Face cream Sunscreen Ironically the girls who have a 10 step skincare routine literally get breakouts
Basically, just try and use gentle things for your skin! I’m 13 and do struggle with my skin. edit: I’ve hit puberty (I hit it at like 10) and I’ve got my period, I’m still growing but it’s kind of rude for you to assume that I don’t know what I’m talking about, like ffs I’m not 8. I’ve got advice from parents and adults, I know what I’m doing. My skin is Oily (and a bit of combination) so I know what I need to use. Can you guys leave me alone? Here’s what I use: Cerca ve cleanser (oily-normal) drug store toner (I stopped using my glow recipe one) ordinary serum (forgot which one!) drug store moisturiser At night I use eye cream (I have bags a lot of the time) and ordinary lash serum!
VERY SIMPLEE! Good! I'm 17, I started using skincare around your age too, I just really washed my face, moisturized and suncreen! But now I have more problematic oily acne prone skin, so more actives for me, but your routines so good and simple, thats good!
im 13 too and this is mine • Cerave hydrating facial cleanser • Thayers hydrating milky toner • The ordinary salicylic acid 2% and/or bubble super clear serum (i have acne and those two honestly help sm) • CeraVe moisturizing cream • Starface clear as day SPF 46 sunscreen (only in the morning tho ofc) •Aquaphor for my lips
I’m almost 14 and have semi sensitive skin that’s normal-oily and this is my skincare routine! Morning: -bubble cleanser -glow recipe dew drops (I hope there ok 😭) -bubble moisturizer Night: -bubble cleanser -bubble balancing spray -bubble moisturizer -lip mask
im 14 and this is currently my routine! day: cleanse with a splash of water drunk elephant b-hydra serum protini polypeptide cream (mix with f-balm if I need hydration) drunk elephant sunscreen when uv index is 6 or over evereden sunscreen lotion for my arms & legs night: drunk elephant cleanser skincare smoothie: F-Balm, B-Hydra, Protini polypeptide cream sometimes: glow recipe watermelon toner thrice a week tlc framboos once a week mix polypeptide with lala during dry days
The watermelon toner has a LIGHT exfoliation. It’s ok to use if you’re only using it 1-2 times a week. On the other hand, the cloudberry toner is ok as well and you can use it whenever you want and how often you want (dermatologist information) :) hope this helped!
Hii so I have a question I am turning 13 and I wanted to get the toner I have a bit of acne and a bit of sensitive skin so do u think I should buy the toner ?
I heard from a dermatologist that the watermelon toner and the cloudberry toner were good for kids. And that Glow Recipe is a good skincare brand for kids.
In my opinion some of these products are based off of if you have like dry skin, sensitive, or oily skin bc with the vitamin C I got the bubble day dream with it and it’s fine it works so well and I wake up with the most glowy skin and I love it so it depends and here’s my skincare routine: 1. Fresh start cleanser (somethings coco kind cleanser 2. Day dream serum 3. Level up moisturizer (sometimes elf holy hydration) So yeah and my skin is fine no pimples, breaking out, or zits or anything!
The toner worked an absolute miracle for me When I was younger I put lotion on my face everyday so I had very clogged pores and bumpy skin, so the toner helped me so much!
hey i’m 14 and i actually do use the glow recipe toner because i had really bad acne and it helped clear my skin a lot! i loved it so much because i also have really dry skin so it very much hydrates aswell
My routine for skincare as an 11 yr old with very dry skin with crusty dry patches and sensitive skin. Cleanser: cerave hydrating Moisturizer: Laneige or la Roche posay Sunscreen: Innisfree spf 36 or banana boat face spf 50 Serum: good molecules HA serum Lips: I use a bunch but my favorites are - Vaseline, aquaphor, Nivea, o keefes! That’s all! :)
I think the blueberry cleanser is good for kids bc I’m 12-13 yrs old and I absolutely LOVE it!! First I tried the mini and I loved it so I got the full size!
im 12 with dry, eczema prone skin! here’s what I use :) cerave cleasner (normal to dry, the makeup removing one) byoma hydrating serum (A LIFESAVER!) laroche-posay spf moisurizer and at nighttime, i’ll slug with vaseline 🤗 hope this helped someone
So I do have a few things to say about the toner: I suffered from very big and stubborn black heads keep in mind I’m 10 and this is crazy but when I used it my blackheads disappeared within a month
My little sister is 12 and she uses the glow recipe Watermelon toner but she has very bad acne and it seemed to help her quite a bit. I’m not saying anything, but I just wanted to say that if you have really Clogged pours then use this
I think that the toner is only good for if you have clogged pores young and that will help and I think the blueberry cleanser is safe cause it’s dermatologist tested and they said it’s great for kids😊
I’m ten and I play paintball so I always get clogged pores and pimples from crawling on a dirty grassland so the watermelon toner really helps so if you have clogged up pores I recommend but if you have clear skin and no problems then I wouldn’t recommend
Im actually turning 12 in 14 days and rn I just bought the glow recipe watermelon glow niacinamide dew drops serum and its actually really light for my skin and I love it!
Here’s what I use as a 10 year old 😊 First I remove my make up (I only use brands/products which are good for me) with the garnier micellar water Then I use cerave hydrating cleanser After that I use the cerave moisturizer Then lip balm That’s it
Yes, I know that everyone will judge me for this and say that I’m too young but for the Cloudberry Toner I have used it.. and it has done AMAZING wonders for my skin!! Ik that it has stuff I don’t need but I will def repurchase it bc it is good imo ❤
My mom is an person who works at a spa and has been studying skincare for a long time and she lets me where niacidaminde so in my opinion I think is it’s fine for the dew drops but most people don’t need them but if you want you can use them
Im 12 all i use is Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser Bubble moisturizer Neutrogena invisible daily defense face sunscreen It works really good I would recommend
The pore tight toner is fine for tweens. The pore tight does not have enough exfoliate in it so its ok to use. The two strawberry drops and the creams also dont have enough exfoliate
Just to tell you the blueberry cleanser at the very end is the most child friendly one as it has nothing toxic or vitamin C and rated rather high for children by dermatologists
Actually, all dermatologists that I have talked about this stuff actually say that the glow recipe watermelon toner is gentle and soothing for young kids skin, so it’s actually good
What I would do for my kid because unfortunately she caught on with the Sephora kids but thankfully I taught her good and that she doesn’t need most of these skincare and that I will buy things you can use and thankfully she was understanding and said yes so I took her and I got her some sol de janero mists and like maybe 2 bubble products and pimple patches but then when I came across ever Eden’s skincare line and saw they were perfect for kids I got it and now my daughter loves it so I suggest getting them that if there addicted to that stuff
Yeah because using toners at a young age can be bad because when you’re young it can lead to break outs so like toners are more for like older teens if that makes sense because your skin has to be used to something first.
I’d say using the watermelon toner would be okay if you have clogged pores from like makeup and stuff like that it would help but yes u do not need to tighten your skin
honestly i get what she’s tryna say but i know a lot of people who struggle with acne and stuff, i do aswell and really it depends on what you use, i’m a teenager but i have struggled with acne and my skin is finally getting back to normal with a simple routine: -glow recipe toner -aquaphor -bubble moisturizer -cera ve nighttime moisturizer -and Spf
I have to use the watermelon toner tho (im 13) because i have keratosis pilaris which means i have little bumps on my face so when i went to the dermatologist they said i have to exfoliate once every two days and use toner after
i have the glow recipe pink toner and i’m 12 with really oily skin and i heard that it’s okay for your skin. but you shouldn’t be using a lot of it it but it really helps with my oily skin but i wouldn’t recommend for kids under 10 yrs old as it will most likely damage their skin
I use the blueberry cleanser, the toner, the acne serum(I have REALLY bad acne and I’m going through puberty),the oil free moisturizer, and the tower 28 spray!! I think glow recipe is a AWESOME brand for younger, older, or even middle aged people!!⭐️🫶🏻
The blueberry and watermelon& cloudberry essence are actually okay for 10+. I have looked into the ingredients and watched some videos and they don't have any harmful ingredients. So it's fine☺️
As a 14 year old hears what i use for my skin (oily) , i don't break out unless, well, you can guess... Face wash- La-Roache Possay gel base cleanser Toner- CeraVe toner Serum- The Ordinary nicinimade 10% Moisturizer- Bubble Level Up Balancing Moisturizer Eye Crean- CeraVe Eye Repair Cream Acne Treatment- Nosporin + Mario Badescu drying lotion
10 percent niacinamide is really high, you don’t need an eye cream, Neosporin doesn’t work and can cause contact dermatitis and the drying lotion isn’t good
i’m 14 and here’s my skincare routine: morning: glow recipe toner drunk elephant vitamin c serum (it has no retinol, safe for young skin) drunk elephant luxury facial oil (i have dry skin, and it’s basically just face oil, no retinol) skin fix triple barrier moisturizer (LOVE.) naturium dew glow sunscreen night: drunk elephant night serum (also is safe for young skin) drunk elephant luxury facial oil skinfix triple barrier moisturizer laniege lip mask!
When I went to Sephora I asked the staff about the toner for young skin and they said if it burns your skin use it in moderation. If it doesn’t you can use it once a day
i’m not gonna say my age but i’m 13-15 and i use the toner and strawberry smooth because i have keratosis something it’s called kp idk but anyways it helps gently smooth out the bumps i have on my face so i think it’s ok but idk
Omg thank you so much I’m using the watermelon pink toner and I did not know it was exfoliating. One girl on RU-vid was saying it’s exfoliating and I didn’t believe that because I didn’t see it on the packaging and now that you said it I’m I am now wondering why I got a pimple and then I’m also realizing why I could’ve got a pimple. I am exfoliating in my face and why my face burns. Thank you so much. I’m definitely gonna get that cloudberry sense toner that’s a little more gentle I’m trying to use it once today. Thank you so much.
I’m a 15 year old this is what I use I cleanse my face with yoko cleanser or the ordinary foaming cleanser If I have makeup on and want to take it off I use a cleansing balm and then go with a cleanser again (double cleanse) Mist my face with Mario baduscue tbh it works well for me but for other people it breaks them out Glow recipe toner Glow recipe dew drops The ordinary hyloronic acid And then the ordinary moisturizer ha And a eye cream And then lip gloss (essence or kiko) I don’t like putting on chapstick because it dries up my lips in the hand lipgloss gives you shiny lips and it moisturizes EVERY SKIN IS DIFF I HAVE MIXED SKIN oily in the t zone and dry for the rest And yea for my lasttttttt step I use the loccitane hand cream the 20% YOU GUYS TRY ITTTTTT ITS SO GOOD 🤍🤍🤍🤍 MY AM SKINCARE IS DIFF THEN MY PM 😭
I’m turning 14 in may this is my routine: Trader Joe’s all in one facial cleanser Glow recipe aha bha toner Trader Joe’s hylauronic serum Hero serum stick Glow recipe dew drops Bubble (purple)moisturizer Sry if I messed up the names
Ok thanks so much cause yesterday I was gonna get the toner here’s the things I use let me know if there ok or if anyone knows there ok (I’m 10 btw almost 11) 1. Bubbie slam dunk moisturizer 2. Bubble lvl up moisturizer 3. Bubble cloud surf moisturizer 4. Bubble day dream serum 5. Bubble fresh start gel cleanser 6. Bubble bounce back balancing mist 7. Glow recipe serum dew drops watermelon 8. The ordinary (pink serum can’t remember what it’s called 9. Bum bum Brazilian cream no. 40 10. Bum bum Brazilian perfume 40 (Not in order but pls if anyone can let me know if this is god for my skin :D)
Dew drops toners and serums (all and products with niacinamide vitamin c and retinol are not for kids ) kids can't use toners and serums but mist that is only hydrating and not having hard products NO SERUM FOR KIDS
The toner cleared my skim up and im young so i would say its safe because me and my friends use it but yk that my opinion this isnt hate i love her channel:)
for me the niacinamide broke me out but for some other people it is a nice glow under your makeup but thats just my skin :) and I am pretty sure the blueberry bounce cleanser is fine
Exfoliating is okay for younger skin, but you shouldn’t do it every day/night. For me I exfoliate about 2 times a week to get the dead skin off my face.
@@N08R76H It works for me. And I’m not saying 9 year olds should. I’m saying like 13+. I’m 16 and I absolutely have dead skin on my face as well as my 13 year old brother. I meant younger skin as in teens not 10 down.
