Awesome Dave ! That's the closest I've heard to Trevor's sound! ! Coincidentally Trevor is in the Holiday edition Guitar Magazine. His 1962 Fender Strat has a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails (bridge), a Bill Lawrence L250 (middle), and a Semour Duncan Hot Stack (neck) pickup to give his awesome power! I never grow weary hearing this song!!! Great work Dave sorting out the Harmonizer effect!👍
@@PDXguitarfreakWhere did you pick it up and what makes them worth the price tag in your opinion (if you don't mind me asking? I mean, that's 1 for the price of 3 or 4 perfectly awesome players.
I always loved that song. It really did sound futuristic when it came out. No other guitarist on the radio sounded like this. I saw Yes on that tour. You nailed this one Dave!
Awesome. I love this album and it’s my favorite Yes album. I still vividly remember some guy on a message board calling this song Owner of a Trevor Rabin Heart with as much venom as he could show for this song and era.
I think we would describe the harmonizer set for a 5th above and a 4th below. Although the lower note is the 5th (down an octave), the interval is a 4th down from the 'root' note.
That is certainly one way to describe it, and how my brain works too.... but I went with the other explanation because I thought it would be simpler for people :)
@@PDXguitarfreak Ya, certainly not a problem. It took me about one second to make the mental adjustment and enjoy the rest of the video. Very nice work.
