I like how this jet engine, apparently mounted to a museum display with sticky tape and fishing wire, just explodes like it’s kerbal space program when it hits the ground from 5 metres.

Not to mention at around 30 seconds, the guy gets smashed against the Engine #4 fan cowl, causing the whole pylon to tilt back and forth, with the pivoting point being somewhere near the wing. That makes no sense! First, that's not how pylon-to-wing mounts work. Second, a perfect side impact should not cause an object to rotate around an axis perpendicular to the direction it was hit from. You could argue that the guy hit the upper half of the cowl, so there was a downwards component to the applied force, but the engine clearly tilts UPWARDS first as you can see once the player gets moved in front of the engine. Amateurish devs are amateurish. But heyy, uh, robo-titties I guess

I was playing on the hardest difficulty during my first play-through, and the QTE timing during this was EXTREMELY tight. I’m ashamed to admit it, but I died during this scene multiple times. My reaction timing is quite awful, apparently.
So she has the force to kick him several feet in the air, but he has the ability to prevent himself from getting stabbed with that same leg...totally makes sense.
It actually does make sense, he had all his limbs replaced with robotic ones, he's basically a cyborg, so it's entirely possible he has the arm strength to prevent the stab while having his back against the ground, his physical strength is on par with robots, getting kicked into the air from below would not be affected by his reinforced body as it only makes him stronger and more durable not heavier.
Fun fact: The force necessary to lift a person off the ground, from an object such as a foot or a hand, would rip through your skull or body before it would ever lift you even substantially off the floor.
For those wondering, P3 (Whos POV we are seeing) has a fully cybernetic body, he is basically the directors personal assassin/spy. He's a human battering ram specializing in combat, espionage and survival. There's a reason the director putx him up against the entire robotic workforce without a second thought, and why everyone else is dead. He isnt human, he's essentially indestructible.

He literally said "for those wondering" which frankly i wasn't "wondering" but i did find the little explanation of the lore interesting.
It's like those bad movies, where everyone trades blows constantlly and lack the skill to block/dodge the punches, but the second an enemy has a knife in their hand, the main character gains the magical ability to block/dodge. Notice how when it kicks him and the blow lands, it has conveniently retracted the sharp heel, and during those moments pov character is unable to dodge/block, but second pointy heel is involved he can split second grab like a pro. Also in those bad movies, the multiple badies all stand around waiting their turn. Here the equivalent is it not gouging him with hand claws while his hands are occupied with the boot.
Couldn't agree more. It was just made to be pretty and as an allegory of "how great Communism is" while poorly copying Bioshock. The whole story is just poorly executed, with a premise that simply is just implausible. A few pretty designs and animated sections do not make up for a lackluster game.
Real, the guns feel awful, the movement feels awful. The game just doesn't feel good and with the horrible pacing at the start I just got so damn bored
I feel like people saying this try to play this as a generic shooter, you do realise you can respec everything at any moment in this game, switch to any wapon or any power at a drop of a hat, there's a lot of ways to build up your character, personally I like how guns actually do damage in this game even on highest difficulty, I never feel like a gun is literally useless except for the starter energy gun, like the shotgun actually knocks the robots away with force, even the base pistol takes like 5-7 shots to kill a basic robot from afar and the game throws ammo hand over fist at you if you bother to loot stuff, most games nowadays have shotguns that might as well be bb guns. If you just sit back all game and shoot the starter electric pistol from cover you're doing yourself and this game a serious disservice.
If RE8 can ride high in showcasing tall vampire lady even though she's only in the game for about an hour, then Mundfish has EVERY right putting these ladies front and center of their marketing.
I find it funny that the robot didn't use her other foot that was on his gut to stabby stabby with the heel weapon, as I'm sure both feet have them lol.
So those long claw like fingers, can they actually be used as claws? Because if they can then I don’t really see why it doesn’t just jam those into your chest as you’re trying to keep the foot spike from stabbing you
Well judging by how it sounded like it was laughing I'd have to assume it is playing with the MC. Could be wrong but that is what I surmised. I don't think it was trying to optimally kill.

Hell, I haven't had a year go by yet where I haven't played at least one game that doesn't still have them, it's not as bad as it was in the heyday, but they really haven't gone away.

Fan service has been in countless games in the early 2000s. Industries just toned it down for a while because they wanted to stop over sexually objectifying their women characters. Turns out too many coomers so they just ended up coming back full circle to get as much money as possible. Gotta include porn in everything to sell better. Not enough guys get pussy so the best thing they can hope for is to see some action in the games they play.
