just when you where about to loose the fish , i heard the reel skip a few times and then the fish broke off , didn't see in the video but did the line snap , i live near cabo san lucas mx , we still use 6/0 reel penn , but when we get a marlin on they burn up the reel as there only one disc brake , great video your guys know what to do and when to do it ,

Disregard my last comment. I ran into Marciano at the Boston RedSox/Mets game at Fenway Sunday. He told me the mask bandit’s (there were 2 on the boat) were Sandro from the Dot Com and Jared of the Hot Tuna. Capt Dave and Capt TJ don’t approve of them 2 timing behind their backs with Kid Cochiese and the Go Fast Crew of the Preacher. PS Squid reached out and wants to do a video with his new crew.
