A South Sudanese here. I've been listening to Kennedy Mengesha and Yeshimebet Dubale since childhood and still do. This has always been my favorite. I loop it over and over again if I need calmness of soul. I would really appreciate if someone who understands Amhara could provide the lyrics or summary of what the song says. The voice is rich. So do the beats. I cannot imagine a day I would read or draft a manuscript without this playing in the background. I'm a big fan of Dibo Manalmosh as well. 'Amesegenalo'!

@@Mirkuzz that will be 1989 Gregorian calendar most South Sudanese were in Ethiopian and they listen to that until the fall of Mengistu in 1991. we still listen to them in Kakuma Camp and it reminds us of Good days when we were winning the war against Khartoum thanks Mengistu. Most of us did not know back then the Derg regime butchered thousands of Ethiopian but we will never forget how Ethiopian under Derg was nice to us. Even Meles gave Mengistu his credit for being African nationalist. Mengistu just went off rails by accidentally killing millions of his own citizens.
