This "Yessong" video is not complete. Because some songs were missing from the triple album released in 1973 as a result of the show held between February and December 1972. 1 - Opening [excerpt from Stravinsky's Firebird Suite]; 2 - Siberian Khatru; 3 - Heart of Sunrise; 4 - Perpetual Change; 5 - Mood for a day; 6 - Your Move; 7 - Long Distance Runaround 8 - The Fish; 9 - Starship Trooper. Drummer Bill Bruford participated in the show on songs 4, 7 and 8. He was later replaced by Alan White. Greetings from Niterói, Brazil.

Actually, the only way to really listen to Yes is on a good quality stereo with high quality headphones. There is just so much intricate stuff in their music that the only way to hear them is with headphones or see them live. This is just beautiful. I came to Yes with the release of Yessongs, and these performances have always been defining for me, even as I and my barely teenage friends dug backward into their catalog. I know that "initial contact bias" is a strong force in forming opinion, but these songs, these Yessongs, were performed so well that maybe the "bias" is actually an objective status for my opinion. And, wow, it's been nearly 50 years since I first encountered it.

Two musicians alone at such a pinnacle of amazing ability, and yet completely devoid of competitive jealousy and remained close friends until Kieth’s passing. Agreed, it has aged remarkably well. I suspect it was just a tad too ahead of its time, and a bit jarring in its change of style. Listening with hindsight, after coming through the 1980s and the huge impact that Trevor Horn subsequently had on the sound of that decade it now sounds superb. I suspect it will never be everyone’s cup of tea but for me it has matured well and is a fine album.

I saw them in 1976 in the round at New Haven Coliseum. Incredible show, except for the idiot that threw an M80 on stage during The Clap. Steve Howe stopped playing, gave the guy the finger and started the song again. Standing ovation on that one!

I was there. I remember thinking after every song that no way it could get any better than this, and with each song they proved me wrong. Awesome Band!!!!!

I was there as well @Fred Clark amazing show, as always! My pregnant sister came with us without a ticket! She got in and somehow met up with us to catch the ride home! Saw them many many times back in the day! Still my fav of all time, I have all of it on brand new vinyl again! I also have this on DVD!

Saw them on Tales and Relayer tours, at New Haven Colosseum. Tales was an amazing show; Relayer very impressive but lacked magic, perhaps because nothing can top your first live experience of a top band. Steve Howe is outrageous. Although Beggar's Banquet, Workingman's Dead, and Marquee Moon more closely express/span my pop music taste, virtuoso prog--Yes and King Crimson--seared my teenage brain. I fondly revisit those psychic artifacts from when life was expansive and I was yet to make mistakes which truly mattered.

You reference a couple things I don’t understand but overall your comment makes me think we would totally understand each other. I’m from west coast you’re east coast but we are connected spirits because of Yes. God and Yes touch your soul.

Yessongs was one of my most listened to albums as a young teen in the 70s, but the audio for this film is not satisfying. Glad to see it end with Yours Is No Disgrace, which was always one of my favorite pieces on the album (much better than the studio version).

I remember seeing this film when I was about 17 years old, at a midnight showing at our local movie theater in Chicago. They blasted the volume like a real concert, it was bliss... and thus sent me on my way into the wonderful world of prog rock thereafter. Good times!

Enjoyed the visual but I would recommend listening to the album for anyone who enjoys the music. The sound quality of the live album is vastly superior to this video upload.

So many bands sound so dated (in a bad way) and don't stand the test of time. YES is timeless.

I was 9 when this was filmed and had not even heard of Yes yet. I have seen them two hands full since. Multiple singers and keyboardists and drummers. Jon A is by far the best/ only singer for the band. Rick outshines Geoff Downes Bill and Al are interchangeable each with their own styles. Steve and Chris were so special that all other guitarists were jealous. Their duo for lead and bass guitar has not been matched. Not even Pete T. and John E.

I was sat in a small theater in ‘80 on the anniversary of fbis epic concert movie. To have been in the audience for any of the captured songs would have been incredible. 50 years on tonight the concer LP was released. No live release like it since.

Este es el mejor concierto que Yes nos dió en los 70's, pero lo que nunca entendí, fue el porque no filmaron todas las canciones que están dentro del álbum triple
